I know it's almost Easter but . . .

I finished another one of my eggs!! This one is almost weddingish, wouldn't you say? What if you tucked money inside and gave it to the bride and groom, the start of a "nest egg?" Oh well, maybe that's a stretch but I've been meaning to get to this sweet thing and finally did. Soon to be in my Etsy store!

That is a really neat idea, using it as a "nest egg." I love it. I kinda want to eat the flowers....

Love the idea of a nest egg! May have to borrow this one!!!

An Old Irish Blessing sweet Dawn,
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hi Dawn,
My first thought when seeing the new egg was exactly what you said-a wedding egg for starting a nest egg. Brilliant! You have just filled a niche. I've got two weddings coming up this summer and would buy one for both couples. Dawn, you're just too clever for words.

The egg is lovely and your projects from yesterday's post are amazing. I loved the pictures of
your grandparents - they sound like they were very interesting people. And thank you for the picture of the little girl.

Truly beautiful egg Dawn - you have the gift!
Hope you have a great St. Patrick's Day - we celebrated more on Sat. when Raleigh had the parade - 2nd. largest in the Southeast after Savannah!
I broke down and made Irish Stew for dh (being a vegetarian makes meat dishes hard to make!), and baked soda bread - that part was good!!

Enjoy your week - hope the stormy weather didn't affect you.

Your egg is so beautiful...and like everyone else says, your talent is over the top. Your egg reminded me of See's chocolate eggs, I don't know if they still make them. But they had flowers on the top and the filling was to die for. Now I have done it, thinking about chocolate!
I hope your day is filled with a little green! Hugs, Mary
