Staying busy!

I hope you had a wonderful fourth of July weekend dear friends ~
I was finishing up some projects for publishing and of course need to get them in the mail the first of this week. We are heading to Florida the middle of the week and spending a couple of days at Panama City Beach! So, I'm trying to take care of a few things before we leave.

I have to share something so neat with you. A few weekends ago, our oldest son Brent rebuilt his grandparent's deck for them. Well, when the job was finished and they were cleaning up, look what he saved for me!! All the wonderful, aged finials from the posts! I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them but he knew I could use them for something ~

A few glimpses of what I've been working on ~

Nurture your creative soul

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for buying my tutorials!!! I do hope that each and every one of you are pleased with them ~ now I can't wait to see all of these wonderful creations!
They are still on sale today and tomorrow in you'd like to take a look:

I hope your two new pieces will be for sale in your shop? Of course, I want to be first to buy one!!!! You find the most adorable "junk" to use in your art. I love that cigar-shaped pouch and the other stuff you picked up. I am going to Plum Tree one of these weekends, it sounds like my kind of store!!!! Have a good week.

Hi, Dawn!
Have a great time at the beach. As we always say, a BAD day at the BEACH is better than a GOOD day ANYWHERE ELSE!!
Do you know anything about the print with the sweet girl at the top of this post? It is SO PRECIOUS!
I appreciate everything you do and all the blogger friends who share their lives, homes and projects.
ENJOY your VACA!
Betty :)

You son knows your heart well, love the finials! The artwork looks delicious, can't wait to see the finished pieces in print.

I envy your time at the beach. I think this year will be our first in a long time that we do not get to spend time there. Have fun for me too!

Many years ago I made candle sticks from old porch finials. Now where did they go? What a treasure.
