Gotta share the goodness ~

I have become SO picky about buying magazines....
Maybe it's because I have tons of amazing books that are inspiring ~
or it could be that I love blogs so much
and of course, don't forget Pinterest!

But there's something about holding a magazine in your hands
and thumbing through it at your leisure....
just being able to enjoy the pages over and over again ~

Here's one I just came across and I love it!
Sometimes these Christmas issues are too mod for me but this one
struck a chord and even though there are a few articles that are
not quite my style, I can take away something wonderful from them!
Here's just a peek:

The gorgeous home featured below is Jennifer's from The Old Painted Cottage!

A scan for you....and precious food for thought ~

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday my dear friends,
love you much ~

There were lots og good ideas in the magazine.
And the verse at the end was beautiful, thank you so much for sharing and enjoy your day.

Oh, yes, I see quite a few things upon which you could place your "spin." I can hear your brain whirring about decorating the old farm for Christmas. FUN, FUN.

I saw that magazine, Dawn, and decided to wait a few more weeks before I pick it up. Glad to see it has some wonderful pictures and decorating ideas in it.

Dawn I just want to take this time to thank you so much for your beautiful blog. I had never seen one before. The way I found yours was, I was searching for instructions on how to make rag balls and I googled it. The search brought me here to your instructions, (which by the way were very helpful!), and I have been coming here for a visit every day since then. That was over a year ago and I have enjoyed every post!!! I now have several blogs that I follow but I always make sure to come here every day. Your choice of pictures and poems and the things you share are so homey and peaceful and it is a joy to visit. So I just wanted to say thank you for touching so many peoples lives by taking the time to share you life. God has blessed you abundantly and you are a blessing to me!

Thank you,
Sandy Thornton

Shawn, I have stopped buying mags for a long time now. With the million beautiful blogs, Pinterest and Google there is almost nothing I can't find. I have folders after folders of bookmarked beauty and I love the fact that none of it takes space. I do buy exceptional books and have accumulated a good library. Thank you for always sharing so much with all of us, I continue to follow your blog forever, just hardly ever enough time to leave comments. Blessings, Marta.

I've become very picky, too. I usually stand in the store and thumb through the magazine and unfortunately, it is usually not inspiring enough to spend money on!

Magazines are so expensive and there's so much to see all around. I limited myself to one holiday magazine purchase...Victoria. Now I'm thinking I'd love BHG. Oh dear, what's a budget-minded gal to do?

Dawn....just dropping in to say hi! Hope you are having a wonderfully productive fall. I love the cheerful little baby photo! And I'm like you with magazines! Somerset publications, Create and Decorate, The Primitive Place, Victoria and British Edition of Country Living to name just a few. I never throw them away!

Hugs! Diane

Dawn I need to look for that one ~ I usually am in denial that Christmas comes so fast so don't look for Christmas magazines yet ~ That does look gorgeous though!!
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
