I'd gladly help you packing up your studio, dear Dawn. The problem is that you would have already been moved until I would be in Georgia, lol. But even if I would live just around the corner, I guess, I wouldn't be of much help because it would be so exciting to look at all your treasures that it would take me forever to fill up a box. Your studio is awesome and there are so many wonderful details to look at. I can imagine that you don't know where to start packing. Hopefully everything goes smooth, sweetie!
Hugs to you,
Julia

Ha! You were right!
You DO have more crap than I do!
But it's all good crap. :-)

If I helped ya move, a good bit of it would turn up missing and would be living at my house.
I'm just sayin'.

Oh, this room is just paradise! I wish I could come over to play!

OMG, where would you start? How many moving vans will you need for just this one room? It would take me weeks, probably months, to pack up all those things, because I would constantly stop and ooh and aah all over again over all the treasures. Your studio is just awesome, so full to the brim with the most amazing things.

Joanna said...

What a beautiful studio! I wouldn't know where to start and there are one or two distractions in that room aren't there?! So I'm sending you 'strength' to start the task, 'love' to support you to get it done and 'hope' so that you'll be able to sort it all out at the other end in your lovely new home.

Good luck!

Hi Dawn!
What a delightful room!!! So full of vintage treasures and inspiration!!! I love every little bit! Good luck packing all that up. I would help if I lived close. It would be fun to look at everything as it gets packed away. My favorite thing when I move is unwrapping it all. It feels like I'm discovering each item all over again or opening a present. Then you have the fun of finding a fresh new place for it all. It's a lot of work, but at least it's pretty and inspiring things!

Oh my. I wish I didn't live so far away. I think it would be fun to play with all of these lovely things. Do you have a room in your farmhouse that will house all of these beautiful items?

WOW! I have to say that's kinda scary. I have to say that you have more stuff than I do-- and that's saying something. :-)

Dawn....I thought I was bad, but you have a MUCH bigger space than I do. I love your old studio.... you have lots of really neat things (organized clutter), but your new farmhouse is awesome. I had many dreams when I moved to mine too, but I have just become overwhelmed instead, and the years are slipping away. Any suggestions????

wow.. that's a lot of wonderful stuff lady and I thought I had lots of supplies! Great space you are leaving behind though...nice high ceiling and spacious. How long will it take you to pack and unpack all that? I think there's a book to be written in there somewhere!

I just knew it would be pics of your craft room when you said it is so full!!
You'll get it all figured out, and how great to see some things you may not have seen for a bit. I am always surprised when I make changes at what I find. (of course I know you did just move into that room not long ago too)

I can't even imagine!!! I would love to help you empty that gorgeous studio Dawn. How 'bout I rent a Ryder truck and help you. The catch would be...I am very directionally challenged. I think I may end up taking a wrong turn and it all ending up in Idaho. But don't worry, I will take very, very good care of it!
Love and hugs...
Let me know when to be there, OK?!

Your crafting space is so fabulous Dawn, I wish I had half of your room to organize so nicely! The aquarium with grass is a fabulous idea. So many of my things are in stacked bins and hard to get too.

I wish you fun memories as you pack and always remember these photos for your inspiration when you feel overwhelmed!
I say I need a barn for a studio!

Oh my, Dawn. Your organizational skills are quite depressing to me! I can't even get the clutter off my kitchen counters and you have an amazing treasure filled studio! What fun it will be for your to set up your new space!

Oh.My.Goodness. I suspect the UN-packing will be the daunting part. Whenever I get something new and have to rearrange my art room I find that things never seem to fit back into the spaces they came out of. This room is so wonderful, it will be exciting to see what you come up with this opportunity to start over. Good luck and please continue to share the new house adventure!

Uh-oh! We know which room THAT is! How about if we form a convoy and each of us takes some of it and then deposits it at your new house for you?!
If we could, I think you'd have a lot of volunteers!
It's going to be fabulous, Dawn! Hugs, Diane

Oh girlie, you are going to need luck! Just keep picturing how wonderful it will all be in the new house and that will make it go smoother.

Been there, done that! I just moved into our new home, and moving the craft room was the worst ever, even though I had purged and gotten rid of so much. My husband kept giving me grief about all my stuff, but I have managed to decorate the whole house with stuff from my stash and he seems happy about that! I could not feel at home until I had my craft room so that I could find things in there...happy unpacking! thanks for all the sweet pictures..I love seeing how you display your things so that you can enjoy looking at them.

My Dearest Dawn,
I just wish that I lived near enough to you to be of some help. You know that I would gladly come to help you pack away your treasures. I know you will make a wonderful job of finding new places to keep and arrange your beautiful things in your lovely new home. It must seem like a huge task to pack away then unpack all these lovely things, but look at what a great job you have done already, so of course you will manage to do it again. I will be sending you lots of positive thoughts along the way, and look forward to seeing how you have choosen to recreate another magical workspace.
Lots of love and warmest best wishes for you and the family in your wonderful new home.

Dawn, being the good friend that I am, you just leave all of that room like it is and I will come over and "take it away" for you! Hehehehe. I cannot even imagine packing and moving and putting away all of that stuff? That is why I am not moving EVER. QueenMarcy

Goodness gracious, Dawn! Yes, there is a LOT to move, but your room is full of beautiful things, it's neat and orderly, and you will get it all taken care of . . . one step at a time. I love the birdcage and the old typewriter--oh my, I could spend hours in that room just looking at all the eye candy! Good luck with your move!

Hah...I just moved too. Still unpacking and wondering where and HOW everything fit!
We have a warehouse unit a friend loaned us....it's filled to the brim and there is no more room at the inn!
So, I am dying to know....did it all fit? Are you set up again?
