Can you fall in love with someone
you've never met?

Well, I have. I think of my sweet granddaughter and truly know that I love her already ~ I think of her often and can't wait to meet her!!

I forgot to show you a few precious goodies that I found yesterday for her.....even though they are not new, they are so beautiful to me! From my favorite thrift, a precious ribbon embroidery chenille sweater and hat ~ is this not just the sweetest thing ever??

Also I found a practically new Osh Kosh denim jacket in a size 6-9 months! I'm laundering them both so they are fresh and clean for our little granddaughter.

I had the perfect jar for the new creamy buttons!! I love the way they look inside ~ and out.
I need help.

Wishing you a restful and peaceful Sunday dear friends ~
xxoo, Dawn

The items you found are just perfect! And, yes, I DO think you can fall in love with someone you've never met...I've never met my two great-nieces (they live across the country); but, I love them anyhow. You are going to have such fun!

What great finds you made! I love the little bird tags you received. I went to Tiffany's sale today & her house was wonderful. I took a lot of pictures. And the mittens look so beautiful on your tree. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Great choices Dawn, fun shopping, and you can't have too many buttons, especially white ones, you could sew the most precious ones on the jacket for your darling little grandaughter.I guess I better go get the tissue I have a weakness for great wrappings. Have they picked out a name yet? Blessings in your day Dawn!

I know what you mean about falling in love with someone you've never met. Before my youngest granddaughter, Lily, was born, I loved her. Her daddy is my youngest child. Lily is everything I imagined, and so much more. You will love your grandchildren as much as you love your own children. It's an amazing emotion. It breaks my heart to think that Lily lives in another state and I don't get to see and hold her as often as I would like, but I have warm memories of the times I've been fortunate to cuddle with her and kiss her soft cheek and have her smile at me. I know you can't wait!
