Oh my goodness . . .

What angels you all are!!!! Thank you so very much for each and every sweet comment you've left me.....
YOU are why I blog.....

I have to talk about this amazing blogging world we have now. What's so wonderful about it is, that it operates on the beautiful principle, "give and you shall be given", don't you agree? It's like you get so much joy from sharing ideas, tidbits, creativity and inspiration and the payback is?..... more joy, tidbits, creativity and inspiration. And on top of it all, encouragement and friendship!

And please know this, I'm so excited about my artwork being published in such an amazing magazine, but do you know what?? Your artwork can be too!!! I can remember a couple of years ago, reading blogs and seeing all the beautiful artwork and that these artists were having their work featured in magazines! It just amazed me....who knew??

My wish for you, if you so desire, is to create what you love and mail your work in ~ I can't wait to see it in print!!!

A little egg print from me to you, right click and save ~

The quality is not the best but maybe it's OK for collages:

A few glimpses of my creating this past weekend ~
Did you know you could quilt sheet music?? :)

Thank you again for your sweet comments!!

Happy Wednesday dear friends ~

xxoo, Dawn

Hey Dawn- I never thought to scan and print music- DUH! (and I live in the the quilting capitol of the world it seems like- Amish country). Some of the old graphics are just so beautiful! I fouond the book online and ordered it from the UK. If there were copies in the US, I couldn't find them. Oh joy! Can't wait to scan and play!!

Dawn, this is coming along beautifully! I love the sheet music! I'm going to have to buy some of that fabric to print. I've been a coward because I'm afraid it will get stuck in my printer and technologically speaking...that would mean getting it UNstuck by opening it up. Machines that don't work scare me! LOL!

I had no idea you could quilt with sheet music, and as always, you've done it so beautifully.

Thank you Dawn for the words of encouragement, to remind us to "try" and to take the steps we often fear ♥

No, I did not know that one could quilt sheet music, but now that I do, I think that it would make a lovely accent pillow for my Nan's bed and just in time for her birthday! Thanks...

OK that was no last minute apron... it look wonderful and I can't wait to see the entire thing. You always come up with a creative way to embellish things. If it wouldn't have been for you I would have never submitted the apron. Thanks so much for being an inspiration. Isn't it funny that you can have a friend that you have never seen! Blessings...
