This is kind of fun! Seeing the photographs as this journal develops. It's about 8 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" tall and was a small music book. Well, all of the pages were out of it and just crammed inside. I've glued them all back in and now I'm altering them into a journal. There are eight pages (and I've only worked on 1 1/2!) so that will be sixteen, counting fronts and backs! The pages I'm showing may or may not be finished, I haven't decided yet....that's the fun of it :)!
The image below is a scan I made of the top of a beautiful wooden box. I've always loved it and thought I would share it with you ~
Wishing you a very happy Wednesday!!

I'm loving what I'm seeing! Great job on the journal...it's going to be beautiful! The picture from the box is lovely and off to my "The Feathered Nest" file it went. Thanks for sharing!
Dawn, the journal is already beautiful and on its way to being even prettier! I love the theme of birds, feathers and eggs. What will you do with this when it's finished?
Diane
Dawn- love the book. I am finding that it is much harder to carry a theme further than the "front page" and you are doing it wonderfully. Joy
beautiful journal! Wow! You are so creative!
Oh that journal is fantastic! I think it's done! It is just beautiful!
Love, Debra
You are probably the most talented altered artist I know!! Thanks for your sweet comments, you are allowed to lurk anytime!
This is just the sweetest journal! You have fabulous images and put them together with such an uncluttered, elegant style. I have a little church hymnal that is going to someday become a journal. This is very inspiring!
hugs,
Pam
