OK, I know you must be tired of me showing you baby shoes but
just. look. at. THESE!
Are these not the most precious things you've ever seen?? I found them at The Plum Tree and love them! Hmmm, I wonder if I could make a pair of earrings out of them???
Oh well, better not.
Oh well, better not.
I know their scuffed, I know their cracked but I just don't care, they're so cute :)
Another wonderful find ~ an old receipt book.
The typefaces are beautiful to me ~
I've been working on my next tutorial for The Little Speckled Egg blog ~ it's an altered composition notebook! I hope to have it ready to post sometime tomorrow...
Plus, you're not going to believe this but this is about my 593rd post and I'm thinking a giveaway is in order for the 600th post!! I would love to know what would be a neat thing for me to give away this time, any ideas?
I'm hoping your Wednesday is a great one!!

Hi Dawn,
Those baby shoes are irresistable so of course they had to come home with you!
The receipt booklet is wonderful ~ I love the little scroll for the amount to be written into.
I think a giveaway from you would be grand...I vote for a "little bit of this & a little bit of that".
Have a great middle of the week!
Ok Miss Dawn...I was already having shoe envy over your red ones...but these are so precious!!!
Alright...when does the baby shoe 12 step program begin!!! LOL
Hugs,
Debie
Dawn, I just love your blog and look at it several times a day. Yesterday, I went right through your older posts. You are such a talented lady and I am looking forward to the tutorial for the composition book. I am just starting to try my hand at some of these beautiful things but need 'step by step' instructions. Thank you for such a beautiful, helpful and creative blog.
Chrissie :)

Love those shoes! You find the cutest things.
Anything you've made would be a wonderful giveaway! I'm already thinking autumn and Christmas... so maybe something seasonal.

Dawn,You have hamsters?
I love hamsters. My little guy is so sweet. She has never bite me and dwarfs are known for biting. I had a Ginny Pig before but she was no fun. She bit me all the time. I am so glad my hamster is nothing like that.
I a so glad you dropped by my blog. No one has been reading my recant posts. I even wrote everyone comments. Oh well. I am just glad I enjoy blogging.
Dawn, looking forward to another tutorial!! For a giveaway, I, too, would like a week with you!!! But in reality, just some of your bits and pieces would be nice.
Almost 600 posts? WOW! I agree with all your other comments - Love the baby shoes :-) I have the first walking shoes of both my children on an armoire in my bedroom and have tucked in their baby bracelets, diaper pins etc ... They really are the sweetest little keepsakes.
Oh OK I get the comment thing now.
I have a Russian hamster.
Thanks for stopping by.
Great typefaces - I love the older ones, too, with scrolls and flourishes. So elegant.
For a giveaway? Any of your creations would be fabulous! (and that doesn't help you choose at all...)

Dawn...
Those are just precious baby shoes...yes they are! I was out yesterday at a local thrift store(trying desperately to channel my inner Dawn) and went straight to the baby department to see if they had anything worthy of a purchase! No luck on the baby shoes...I really tried hard to make something work...I even saw an old pair of baby slip-on tennis shoes...I thought to myself...Dawn would know EXACTLY what to do with these...but for the life of me I couldn't envision anything at that moment! Now, see that's were that "week w/Dawn" would come in very handy!
The receipt book reminds me of my daughter...she used to LOVE anything that was office supply related...I could give her a roll of adding machine tape and an old adding machine...and she would stay busy for hours...along with receipt booklets and pricing stamp...she loved to play "store" or "boutique"!! Thanks for the sweet reminder.
I think anything you design or make would be welcomed in a give-a-way...but I'm going to go along with the vote for a week spent with you or at the least a phone number to your creative hotline!
Blessings...
Teresa
Dawn, I wore shoes just like these, I will try to find the picture to share. I had tiny feet and these were special shoes...I think my feet were to narrow. Anyway, I wish that I had them now to share.
I am working on a chapter journal, it is something my sister and I have been doing. She lives in Kansas and I am in Idaho...so we have kept the e-mail busy.
You have shared so many beautiful things, I am blessed to have found you. Hugs, Mary
Wow, 600 is quite a milestone! Congrats.
Dawn, why don't you give away your choice of tutorials? Less work for you than making something yourself--and isn't it better to "teach a man to fish"? :-) If I win I'd like to spend a few days with you, OR for you to spend a week at my house in Eur-eeee-ka, Missouri! (In fact, my hubby is going to a medical mtg in Raleigh soon, and I may have to track you down to "do lunch", Girl! Hugs, Linda
