Today was a day spent gathering inspiration. I have around twenty notebooks chock full of clippings that I love, so I just pulled them out and looked through each of them to see what I still loved (our tastes do change don't they) and to pick out some things I'd like to share with you.
Some of these pages you've probably seen before, just because I know you love magazines like I do! I love the look of this shop below ~ she knows how to merchandise her goods and display common, everyday items as they are important and worthy of seeing. Just gorgeous to me ~
This scan below is of some bookplates that were given away. Wouldn't they be beautiful in your artwork?? Maybe you can use them...even in your books ~
Click to enlarge, then right click to save to your computer.
I'm hoping to get back in my artroom this weekend and create a bit.....next up, a few French themed items ~ one is an order and I need to get a few more things in my Etsy store!
Wishing you a great Saturday!!

The bookplates are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Just to think how many of us are still gazing at years of the original 'Victorias', just amazes me. It's beauty is timeless, especially to those of us that can scan the pages over and over and still create from them...we are lucky to be alive aren't we.
Be happy,
sharon
The bookplates are so beautiful! I love them all! A great idea. You'd just need to print them on heavy paper with a good cotton content and they'd turn out really well!
Had to laugh... I have books and books of magazine clippings... (I keep them in photo albums) they are such an instant inspiration kick when I need it! Its nice to know I am not the only one!!

Dawn,
You help me feel normal {if that's possible!}...20 notebooks?!!! Just made me giggle.
I have a question that MAYBE you can answer. For some reason I can no longer right click all of my posted photos in order to enlarge them. I can't figure it out. I've searched through bloggers help and all my settings and I'm baffled. If you know the answer to this question I would be very grateful for a little help from a seasoned blogger!
Thanks much,
xo
Sue
Once again, you generosity is inspiring - thanks - I love the bookplates!
