For the love of buttons ~

I played with my buttons this evening ~ sorting them by colors. Why do I love them so?? Even the most simple design is like a little valuable bauble to me. This is a big jar of vanilla buttons and a few other cream and white treasures. I couldn't stop taking photos of it. I need help.

Plus I've filled a few orders this evening for my fairy jars! I still need to add the excelsior inside and tie the poem around the top. Don't forget that I have a tutorial store selling the instructions for this project and it also includes the images!

One more funny image for you. My sweet sea angel arrived here yesterday from Denmark. This was her mode of transportation!! Ahhh, the wonderful postal service . . . I'm just thankful she was fine!

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday ~

xxoo, Dawn

Oh my... looks like the packing was moved (or removed)when they did the customs inspection. I'm so happy she arrived in such nice condition.

I have button envy... I suppose that's a sin, but I love buttons. I think I'll transfer mine to jars like you've done. That way I can enjoy looking at them. They're all in tins at the moment.

Your buttons looks absolutely wondeful!! I love the little bit of bling in there with them! I, too, love to sort my buttons by color and of course, have the most in the white family. Unfortunately I keep mine in glass jars in my closet because I'm afraid one of my kitties will knock one down and I'll have a big mess. At least I can go in there and see the pretty colors on the shelf.

sooo glad your lil sea angel arrived fine! i think when i put 'fragile' on a package it means it is a football & can be tossed about. a friend saw how they just toss the packages with abandon into the carts ~ mebbe they do not do that anymore ~ we can always hope! you know how i love buttons!! if you need help ~ i dunno what is available for me! =) we can just love 'em & look at them & enjoy together! have a beautiful wednesday! hugs & blessings, vikki ♥

Dawn, I am also very in love with my buttons. I seperated my white buttons in pretty blue mason jars and use them around the house for decoration.
Your buttons look so very pretty to me all gathered together.
You fairy jars are so dreamy.

A good Wednesday to you too dear.

Smiles,
Becky

I love, love, love buttons! These are just beautiful, creamy, and look stunning in the apothocary jars. Just let me know if the Button Addicts Anon group gets going, I'll be one of the first to sign up :). Also, I just love your site and all the inspiration you provide, including the articles in Somerset publications. The one in the upcoming issue of Somerset Life looks absolutely adorable with the little mittens - I can't wait for October to get here and for the new issue so I can see it in full! Thanks for sharing all you do.

Button, Button, who has the Buttons? My word, these are beautiful. I keep trying to find more at yard sales, but I think we have a button girl right here in Nampa and she beats me to them.

That rhinestone buckle is giving me a serious case of button envy. There is nothing like buttons.
