Here is their before shot:

Stay tuned for the AFTER!

And on another note: I'm in LOVE with seam binding! Look what I bought on Etsy...

And what will I do with the little red shoe? I feel sure it must become a pincushion but also feel as though it should stay here ~ it was so thoughtful of Dorothy to think of me!
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday ~

The bears are so cute...and I'm sure they're going to become even cuter!

When I had my country craft shop one of my specialties was dressing up little lost bears.

I'm looking forward to seeing whqat you do with yours.

God Bless~

Can't wait to see what you do with those sweet little bears! I know they will be so sweet when you are finished. Vintage seam binding...yum! I agree with you that the little red shoe should be a pincushion and stay with you. It's not everyday you are gifted with such a sweet shoe.

The bears are precious and I know after you create your magic they will be stunning! A new life...for an old toy...to be loved once again!

I am loving the seam binding, too...I recently ran across quite a bit of it in a stash I had picked up at a garage sale and forgotten...yea...I love it when I clean and find new treasures.

I agree...the red shoe would look perfect as one of your beautiful pin cushions....and YES! it should stay with you...you will know just the right place to display her...and have the pleasure of continuing to enjoy the gift from Dorothy every day!

I can't wait to see what you do with the shoe and the bears...and anything in between!
Blessings...

I love the little red shoe, it was a very special gift. Keep it where you can see it, to remind you of your friend.
I used to do bears, I don't know when or why I stopped, they are so cute just as they are. But I know that you are going to make them more than just three little bears.
It was 101 at my house today,Yikes!

Dawn, I'm so happy you decided to keep that wonderful little shoe. It was set on a "path" to your home by Dorothy. It will bless your home.

I am looking forward to seeing what you will do with your three bears. I have a few tiny bears that I've been thinking of "dressing up". I found some lace & materials that had been stored away that will be fun to use. Oh my... long comment. I get chatty late at night. Sorry.

So.....how do you clean the bears after adopting them? I have washed some stuffed animals in the washing machine and they have come out great, but I always wonder....
