Such sweetness ~

A peek inside my artroom ~ beautiful, old, tattered books

How wonderful to host a giveaway, not having revealed what the prize itself even is yet, and have such sweet, kind words said!!! I have to stop and say thank you all so very much for all of your wonderful comments ~ you are why I blog, why I want to share what I'm doing, enjoying and thinking.

Seems odd, huh? To look forward to every morning, after I've taken the boys to school, getting back home, sitting down with my coffee and visiting the land of Blog.

It's like entering a big beautiful home with so many rooms you can't count. You approach each door, slowly turn the knob and as you open the door a beautiful room is revealed with a sweet friend inside. Each friend has their own style and their own taste. And for that brief visit to their special room you are enjoying what they love, learning about their lives and gaining inspiration. Then how great is it to be able to talk to them, tell them how beautiful something they've created is, wish them well during a sickness, or just to say hello.

Then as you walk down the hall to the next room, approach the door and turn the handle, you know there is a another wonderful friend on the other side ~

I working on my giveaway gifts and will show the photos soon!

I don't have a blog, but I love reading them and leaving comments. The blogging world is a wonderful way for women to connect with each other and share companionship. It's so wonderful to be able to meet and share experiences with women throughout our country and the world.

I love the way you described this! It's exactly how I've felt since beginning my blog last summer. Yours is one I found quite by chance, blog hopping one day, and landed in your 'nest'. And I'm so glad I did. You're on my list of favorites now! Your site is uplifting and peaceful~thank you for that.

I LOVE books! Especially the old, tattered ones. You can't beat them for texture and beauty when decorating or just the enjoyment of looking at them. I scour flea markets, junk stalls at flea markets, auctions, goodwill, wherever I can find a beautiful old book. I have so many I've started farming them out to daughter and DIL hoping to instill in them a love of old books.
Can't wait for your giveaway!

Love these books - did you find them like this or did you work your magic on them?
