My sweet finds!!!

I didn't buy tons when I went junkin' this past Friday
but what I did find,
I LOVE!!!

I try to be very selective...it has to have a great price,
and of course be amazing ~
At this stage of the game,
I know what I love and know what I'll pay,
so junkin' has become simplified!

A precious framed print ~ a tiny child's umbrella ~
small drawers from some type of jewelry box that will be
perfect vessels for small assemblages....

The sweetest small child's camisole ~

An old brush that will probably
end up in my Etsy shop!

A full box of Clark Thread...black.
Don't you love the graphics on the box???

And this...
The most wonderful tiny weaving loom ~
there's already some on the loom in progress.
I want to use it!!!

A pair of perfectly aged children's shoes ~
I am such a freak for small shoes!

And I found a precious little bag of plastic sheep.
Why do I love sheep so???
They had to come home with me ~

The child's umbrella is perfect!
I'll have to share a pic with you of it opened ~
it has a beautiful scalloped edge!
I've just got to display it in the studio.

I just love this ironstone coffee mug too ~

Another photo of the small drawers...

One little butter pat.
Sweet, old and with a teeny, tiny beaded edge!

I found a few old hats that I LOVED their millinery ~
they are tattered, old and moth-eaten but the flowers are beautiful.

Plus a couple of very old school books...
I took a few photos of the pages inside ~

I'm a little scared of this pic below!!!
Pliers in a child's mouth...OUCH!

Of course I had to buy one old photo too!
I'll be sure to scan it soon to share with you ~

I hope you've enjoyed my tiny pile of goodies...
It's so funny what thrills me.
Simple, timeworn treasures that may be cast-offs to others
but are oh-so beautiful to me!!!

Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

You really did find a lot of sweet things. It looks like a lot to me. Dare you say what your budget was? I'd be interested. Love the photo of the sheep on the butter pat. So cute. Hope that you might display him just that way.

Wonderful finds...each with a story behind it -- the loom especially...some child was busy with that and then stopped...

And those pliers in that child's mouth -- gave me the heebie jeebies just looking at it!!

Girl......... :-) I need to come shopping with YOU... what fabulous finds. So many sweet little treats. I live in Washington State and believe me... there is NOTHING here. NOTHING. No way could I have come home with all those cute 'lil things. Even two of the antique malls where my husband and I had booths are now closed. Pitiful.

Have a great day!

Huggies,
Spencer

Vee sent me over here because of your weave-it loom. I have been using one since I've been a little girl when my gramma taught me how to use it. I've made many many afghans with mine.

You sure found a lot of goodies!!

Aww, Gosh! These things are so precious! I would have come home with the same things! They take me back to my Grandma's house. She kept treasures like this, as do I.
I love the little shoes and the box of threads. I imagine the stylish hairdos that went into those adorable cloche hats. The old photo tops it all off!
Enjoy!
Hugs,
Sherry

Nice creative items. I was especially intrigued by the box of black thread from Coats & Clark. I just bought a regular spool of black thread yesterday and went into sticker shock when I found out it cost $3.99! How out of touch am I?

Wonderful treasures Dawn.

Things are up in the air whether I'm keeping store open or not, so shopping not as much fun right now.

Seeking Him, and waiting.
