So many kindred spirits ~

It seems this blogging world gathers together
those who truly are kindred spirits ~
I've made so many friends
by having this ol' blog and the wonderful thing is
we all love the same things!!!!

Our blogs attract like-minded friends...
artistic friends,
decorating friends,
friends with teenagers,
friends with toddlers,
friends who love to sew,
or friends who maybe even enjoy cooking!!!!
The list goes on and on, doesn't it?

Those who end up reading your blog and the blogs you end up
loving as well will most likely have TONS in common with you and
then you know you are indeed,
kindred spirits!!!

I arrived at the airport last Thursday afternoon
and found Lisa and her sweet babies waiting
for me right outside and we didn't even skip a beat!!!!
Right from talking on the phone to
flapping our jaws in person....
it was wonderful ~

Well, Friday we took off and were on our way to Ann's
but had planned a stop at Winnie & Tulula's
to meet Debby of Talkin' Trash and enjoy this incredible shop!!

Here are a few pics I took at Winnie & Tulula's:
Look at that Deb working the window!!!

We had the MOST fun with sweet Deb of Talking Trash and had
lunch at the bistro inside the shop ~ it was so DELISH!!

We loved the menus created from old books and torn papers....

The gorgeous space of Daphne Nicole & Lynda Cade ~

It was such a great afternoon!! I just love these girls.....

I hope you've enjoyed the tour...OH and I forgot to tell you,
I bought the most INCREDIBLY beautiful
net panels to hang in our living room
on those huge old windows!!!
And you know as soon as I have them hung I'll give you a peek :)
Have a very happy Wednesday precious friends
and sweet kindred spirits ~

hugs and love,
Dawn

Sounds like you had an awesome time. I am heading to Texas in June to visit with best friend and hubby's family. We lived there for 5 years and you know I never went to any of these cool places. That is going to change. I am going to McKinny, Winnie and Tahlulas and more.
thanks for sharing your trip.

I think it's so funny how in almost every photo of anyone taken in Texas they show those HUGE wasps nests.....they're awesome! Especially when they're empty!
I'm so glad you had such a fun trip. It's fun spreading your wings, isn't it?

Hi Dawn, your photos are just gorgeous! I was so disappointed that I didn't get to meet up with you girls at a Winnie & Tululas when Lisa ask me about meeting you there, but I ended up having to go to the Doctor to get my soft cast off, and that was the only day they could do it that week! I hope you make another trip this way so we can meet! Do you ever go to the Warrington/Roundtop show? Maybe we could all meet up there sometimes... what fun that would be! Glad you girls had a great time... blessings~~~ Daphne

I am sooo jealous. I met Debbie in August but just for a few hours and I never got to W and T. She is a hoot, a true original, authentic and beautiful woman. What wonderful photos of a lovely time. So much creativity flows around all of these marvelous people. You are definitely one of the tops.
