A sweet transformation . . .

A simple old bedspread
can brighten a precious little girl's bedroom
more than you realize!!
I've had this pink bedspread for YEARS...
just sitting on the shelf ~ waiting to become something
even more beautiful than it ever imagined!

I split a twin bedspread in half.
The center of the spread are the two outside edges....
and the gathered skirt that originally
hung from the top edges and down the sides
are now gorgeous gathered ruffles flowing down the center of the window.

What a beautiful hue it casts in baby Clara's sweet bedroom.
Simple things can make you so happy!!

Wishing you a beautiful weekend precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Sweetie, what a wonderful idea, using a bedspread. It makes the room fit for a princess. Don't you love using something you already have? PS Love the bunny and the lampshade as well. Have a wonderful weekend!

So pretty. Lucky you to swe PINK curtains! I sent you an email this morning with a question about printing on fabric. Did you get it or did it maybe go into your spam folder? Looks like you are having a lot of fun with your shop. Once you have that in your life it just makes it so much more fun to shop doesn't it? I did that for 15 years. Now that I have been out of it for about 2 years I do get the itch every once in awhile. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Charlene

The curtain is so sweet for a baby's room!
Great idea. Years ago I made curtains from sheets that were in the sale bin! So much fun repurposing things.
