I know you must save ideas from magazines.
Of course, there are some that I won't cut up but for the most part
I do clip and save my most favorite ideas and file them away
in plastic sleeves in a binder.
I've shared several on my blog before
but these are a few that I don't think I have :)
But of course, I'm not sure!!!
Here's an easy way to age a PLASTIC pot for your spring plantings....
click all photos to enlarge!
I had to doctor this photo up a bit as the top of the slipcover
was totally washed out because of the photo's brightness...
was totally washed out because of the photo's brightness...
but don't you just love this idea??
These slips would be SUPER fast to toss in the wash and tie back on!
Please don't laugh at my lousy Photoshop
attempt to make the slipcover show better...
I absolutely LOVE everything about this photo below...
and Rose, is this ANOTHER pitcher that matches our pattern??
The brown transferware is just gorgeous to me....
A little bird for you two ways....jpg:
And here he is in a png format!
And I want to share with you a most wonderful quote
I found on Tracey's blog...Notes from A Cottage Industry:
How far you go in life depends on
your being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving
and tolerant of the weak and the strong.
Because someday in life
you will have been all of these.

Wishing you an GREAT Monday precious friends!!!!
hugs and love,

Hello Dawn, lots of inspiration indeed...love the post of Clara's day..she is just adorable in the little tu tu you made for her so sorry she wasn't feeling well...I do pray she is all better soon....I missed my Vivian's first B-D as they have moved quite a distant away from me...I got pictures though...She had a Tinker Bell party and was dressed so sweetly in a fairy dress.....hope your week is very blessed.....Shelley
Dawn, who would have known that brown transferware pitchers and bowls were that common ?
I too love this picture...
the very minute I saw it.
I have been bouncing back and forth on your blog looking at the different "Button Floozies" ...as I have a friend who LOVES and collects buttons in her travles.
However, she does not blog or have one..but loves to visit the ones I send her.
She is on the road with her job ALL the time...and loves spending some evenings on her computer with blogs.

That mantel scene is what I dream of... How beautiful!
I love those slipcovers too! Thanks for that quote - Geo Washington Carver is one of the most inspirational figures that we studied in our homeschool.
LOVE the little girl photo....love all the inspiration....and "she" loves saving pictures out of magazines. Six full 3 inch binders and a new one started not too long ago. Dawn, does this mean "she" has a problem?!?

So many fun ideas, thanks for sharing them with us today. Your little Clara looked so sweet in the tutu you made her! You can tell by her eyes that she is not feeling well but she looks just precious and the party decor was wonderful too!
What wonderful pictures and ideas Dawn. I love looking at beautiful decorating ideas.
That was a wonderful quote. Had to post it on my facebook!
Dawn, just re-read YOUR post and you ASKED me if this pitcher matches your bowl. Forgot to comment about that.
I do not believe it does...the leaves are very different from my pitcher I know. And it looks like a smaller pitcher than...for your bowl.
Rose
Oh so inspiring to see the mantel,,I am looking at ours,,it needs a make over badly...love the quote!
Love
