If this isn't precious....I don't know what is ~

I'm in the middle of making the MOST precious little thing ever!!!!
A teeny little birthday tutu for Clara!

I found the directions on Etsy HERE....
it is going to be so full,
so lush ~
I have just started and have tons of tulle strips to add!

All for this precious little girl ~

Today is really her birthday
even though Saturday is her big birthday party...
So we're going over this evening for a "mini" party...because...
you only turn one year old once!!!!
Happy Birthday sweet Clara...we all love you so!

I ran across these gorgeous paper pom poms today
that Linda Albrecht created .... they can be found HERE ~
I love what the Glimmer Mist does to the pattern paper, don't you?

Lana of Honeysuckle Lane is having a celebration giveaway HERE ~

Thank you so much for the sweet compliments on the new blog look!!!!
Karen did SUCH an amazing design job....
I told her now I feel like I have my makeup on!!

Have a very happy Tuesday dear friends ~
hugs and love,

Dawn, i cannot wait to see your little sweetie wearing that TuTu...honestly, that will be so adorable...i hope tulle is easier to work with when you are making a bigger tutu, the one inch tutus are a bit tedious...

Good morning Dawn.
First thin when i clicked on I saw those shutters, and wondered how long they had been there, and had I just not noticed in my eagerness to see what was new for each day.
So, glad they are really new, and LOVE the new look!

Happy Birthday Clara. Little girls are so fun!

Blessings on your day

Oh! I cannot believe she's gonna be one already!
And so darling!! Isn't being a Grandma to a little girl THE BEST? (of course I know I'd say that even if it were a boy), but I am SO loving a little grand-daughter, and I know you are too!!
Karen has done a fabulous job on your blog..she is such a sweetie!
Have a lovely day!

You must be an awesome gramma! I remember making my daughter's when she was 2. She played in it until it just couldn't stretch anymore! Then I cut the elastic open and added ribbon ties and roses..It lasted another year! That's what memories are made of...enjoy all of yours with little Clara...Kathi

Dawn, I was so excited about your blog makeover and got in touch with Karen right away, doing a happy dance all the way. I have been needing some blog help to update mine and was thrilled to find someone. Unfortunately (boo-hoo), she does not do Typepad blogs!!! Darn, I had the changes pictured in my mind already. If you hear of someone similar to help with Typepad, please let me know. Thanks. QueenMarcy
