Tomorrow is my Mom's birthday ~ Halloween! She's always had to share it with trick or treaters and us getting ready to go out . . . or as we got older and married, us taking our own children out on Halloween. I made her a little card today & I'm heading to the post office hoping it will arrive in her mailbox tomorrow. She lives in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia and I won't be able to see her until Thanksgiving.
I love you Mom! xxoo, Dawn
Don't you love the colors of vintage Christmas ornaments?? Faded hues of their former selves but more gorgeous than ever! The picture below is from a box going to The Plum Tree to be sold . . . Feel free to right click and save the image on your computer ~ Christmas is just around the corner!!

Happy Birthday to your Mum.
What a beautiful card (I love the bird stamp on the envelope).
Love the vintage Christmas bulbs ...once Halloween is here it is all Christmas for me :-}
What a lovely card for your mom. I can remember putting bulbs like this on trees when I was growing up. They didn't survive the years though.
Hi Dawn - I'm back from England and see I've missed so much beauty on your blog - I'll be reading through and enjoying each post. Happy Halloween Birthday to your Mom!
My Victoria arrived the day I was leaving to "cross the pond" so was able to enjoy it during the 8 hr. flight. It's fabulous and, as you said, they seem to have picked up exactly where they left off before it went too "modern". I'm thrilled and already anxious for the next issue.
Love those mittens - I must try to make some if I ever have time!
Happy Birthday to your Mom...what a lovely card!
the vintage Christmas Balls are Gorgeous!!!
Happy Birthday to your mom! My late grandmother's birthday was also on Halloween.
Beautiful! I do love those colors.
My daughter Anna has always collected Flamingo ornaments...and to tie them more into Christmas traditional looks we have started her a collection of vintage pink ornament balls to add to her own tree. These vintage ornaments are so pretty you show here.
