Thank you sweet Colette!

Do you love buttons? I just adore them! The older the better, the more intricate the better. I recently spoke with a sweet blogger friend, Colette of A Bird in the Hand, and we decided to trade some goodies with each other. A trade is so much FUN!

Well, here are the beauties that I received from Colette and I just love them all! Honestly, they look like pieces of jewelry to me. Click on on the photo to enlarge and see how cool these buttons are. Plus, to top it all off, she send me a beautiful quiltie collage piece of artwork of hers! How great is that?

Thank you so very much Colette. I love it all!

Oooooo what fun stuff!!!! I love buttons too, I agree, the older the better!! If anything {esp. paper} looks too new, I stain it and throw it around out back to make it look old :)
Colette passed along some pretties to ya :)

BUTTON,BUTTONS,BUTTONS! One of my most favorite collections. These are beautiful. Dawn, your a lucky chick. I'll have to do a post on my collection sometime. I have so many buttons. I even have a collection of only white buttons I keep away from all the others.
Sweet post, about your friend and buttons.
Smiles,
Becky

My loot arrived! Thank you so much Dawn. I have visions of art shrines in my head :)) and the broken rosary is exactly what I was looking for (part of a necklace). Great trade, thank you again! Love, Colette xoxo
