Here's what I've accomplished with my rag rug.

My sweet neighbor at my table, Teddy had such a complementary fabric to my pink fabric that we traded some strips and look at how they look together.
Pages from MaryJanes Stitching Room Book telling all about rag rugs . . .
My tatting! Just three little loops!
I would love to be able to make this wonderful tatted necklace with vintage buttons. The photo below is from MaryJane's Stitching Room by MaryJane Butters

LOVE THE RUG!!!! How Fun! I also really like MaryJane Farms - thanks for showing me this book, I didn't know about it.
Wow, Dawn! Thanks for reminding me...I have a huge bag of my Gramma's strips (buried somewhere in the craft supply room!)that I need to get out. Also, I've been contemplating getting that book~~it looks wonderful! Hmmmm...maybe a Christmas present to myself!

This looks like a wonderful book! I think it's time to start my Christmas wish list :-}
dawn-your rug and tatting look amazing! you are quite talented! i hope to get my photos from monday posted today. i am enjoying your blog!
Your tatting is lovely! (I'm a shuttle tatter, but the result is just so pretty no matter which way you do it.) And I have an in-progress crocheted rag rug that looks like yours. I feel so "thrifty" using up old fabric this way!
Your rug is looking great!!! Beautiful colors.

The necklace is my favorite project in the book, but I also liked the simplicity of the pincushions made out of old tin molds too. It's a lovely book!
beautiful rug and projects! love your new little poochie - what a sweetheart!
I wish I had a pretty little blog like this one , but all I do is complain 'cause that's what my boring life is all about. Things to complain about and nothing to do.
Anyway all sunshine and smiles.
In everything turn turn turn
there is a season turn turn turn
And a time for every purpose...
I didn't know that was from the bible.
flowers like lilies and lavenders none too dramatic
