Miss Potter...absolutely enchanting!

I'm no movie critic but this movie is precious! I came home from the antique store last night and was surprised to see my husband rented Miss Potter for me ~ how sweet is that? We had seen the preview when we rented another movie and I told him I'd love to see the movie when it comes out on DVD. Plus, after seeing it mentioned on so many blogs, I knew that I would love it.

It's a beautiful movie. The costumes, scenery and just seeing her become so successful at a time when women just didn't do that, was quite a treat. I don't know very much at all about Beatrix Potter which may be good as I didn't notice anything in the movie that wouldn't be true to her real life story. I've always loved her artwork though and so enjoyed watching this sweet movie ~ I hope you get a chance to watch it, too!

Hi,
I discovered your blog by clicking the "next blog" button about a month ago and have been checking it every once in a while. I really like your postings and the things/craft you do. Your store seems adorable. Too bad I am far away, in Brazil...
Anyway, keep up the good work.
Oh, and I'll definetely have to watch this beautiful movie.

Isn't Miss Potter just the most charming, inspirational movie you've seen in a long time? I absolutely loved it when I saw it with my husband at the cinema.

Miss Potter is one of my favorite movies <3 i have seen it about six times now.

...there is some things which are different from her real life, like she did not know MR. Heelis, before she moved to Hill Top farm, Norman died cause of a leaukaemia.
Ofcourse so many stories are always molded, so they would fit better on a film.
