Wonderful new finds....and such a nice surprise!

I found this AMAZING big bowl this past weekend....
I'm in love with it.
Can I love a bowl?
Why, yes, I think I can.
It's one of those large bowls that used to have a pitcher
inside to use on a washstand....

Incredible wall art....I love architecture!

The most gorgeous Last Supper print ~

A bag of busted jewelry....
I threw away half of it because it was junky new stuff.
This is the yummy stuff I saved.
You can click on the photo to enlarge....

These precious tiny jars with lids.

Can I keep my broken jewelry in one so I can stare at it??

I've bought three different colors of seam binding...
these are the names of the colors ~
And I did check, the medium beige is Bark Tan!

This was my wonderful surprise in the mail....
The upcoming Spring issue of
Somerset Life has my altered Pop-Tart box featured!!!
I didn't write the article on this one
but did tell how I created it and
they incorporated the instructions into the article.
It will be coming out April 1st!!!!
This issue, just like all the others, is breathtaking and a MUST HAVE...

My little ol' box ~

The next three photos are mine that I took right before I mailed it off ~

A few more snippets from the issue to entice you a little bit!

This was an ad in the issue and I have GOT to get this new publication
coming out April 1st too!!!

Whew!! This was another one of those doozy posts!!!
I hope you are doing wonderful and feeling Spring where you are ~
Everything is blooming here in Georgia!

I finished Clara's tutu....it. is. precious!
I don't have a photo of her in it yet but
do have this adorable one of our angel to share with you ~

Have a great Thursday my precious friends!!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

That is now two magazines I MUST get the next time I am in Borders or Barnes & Noble.

I like Bella Rose's suggestion for your bowl...it is SO the right colors for old lace, etc.

You are such a tease!! I am waiting patiently (not!!) for my copy to show up in the mail. I am with you on the prim magazine too, it looks like a must have!! BTW your posts are always good enough, spectacular is what they are always!! Thanks for being part of my day!

Dawn, the box is gorgeous! Who ate all the Pop Tarts? LOL! This just goes to show you....don't throw stuff away that can be made beautiful and useful!

Congratulations on another project in the magazine!

And I truly understand your love of brown transferware. It's my favorite too! The brown is getting harder and harder to find and the prices are going up. The shelf in my living room that fell off the wall when I touched it a couple of weeks ago had my brown transferware on it. Every single piece of it now has pieces glued back together. :-(

I hope you have a happy day! Have a Pop Tart! ;-)

Hugs and Blessings,
Diane

I love the Bark Tan seam binding ~ that looks like a perfect color ~ I tried bleaching my Tobacco Brown to get a color like that and it came out the ugliest orange that I had to throw it all away ~ it was gross !

Dawn,

The altered box is wonderful! I have news to tell you, you won't have to bail me out of artist class, I did the PDF all by myself! It was blood, sweat, and tears but I learned how. You deserve way more than a fairy shoe from me.

Clara is so precious, love that smile and those little first teeth. She looks so happy. I hope you enjoy your day!

Love the pretties. My favorite is the old building picture. Of course you can love that bowl! I scored a beautiful jadite bowl last weekend and I love it. Hubby keeps asking what I'm going to do with it. I have it out on the counter now and I just look at it when I walk by.
