Well, to tell you the truth...

I have been so VERY unproductive already this week.
But I just have to realize our lives sometimes get that way ~
so, so busy.
My DH had to go to the ER yesterday (Tuesday)
for removal of a piece of food that
became lodged in his esophagus...it took 7 1/2 hours of waiting
and only five minutes to remove.
(Mostly because there were over 200 patients
in the ER because of lack of health insurance)
He's fine now just exhausted.

I'm taking Emily and Clara to the ENT doctor this morning for a pre-op
exam as she's getting tubes in her ears Friday morning....
Poor thing has truly been sick all winter long.
Brent, Clara's dad, had the exact same trouble with his ears.
It was a blessing ~ he was so healthy after the tubes!

So today I give you pretties to look at or create with.....
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday precious friends,

hugs and love,
Dawn

eeks! nothing more terrifying than having to sit in the ER :) But it was productive, because eventually it came out, thank goodnesss. It was just a different kind of productivity to what you had planned...

I hope getting tubes will help your baby, my experience is that they do work. My baby nephew expend 6 hours at the emergency room yesterday too. His visit was kind of funny. His mama have never experience nose bleeds neither the older kids. She completely freak out, thank God thats all it was. They ended giving him antibiotics for a throat infection. Take care and have a blessed week,Marta.

Oh Dawn ~ 7 hours in ER!! How absolutely frustrating, stressful and exhausting that had to be for you both! So glad he is fine now. Bless your hearts - just take it easy and rest up. It is also productive to rest, regroup and recharge...and cuddle and kiss!!!

Oh Dawn. I do hate those emergency rooms. Can't imagine having to seat there so long. It seems like emergencies should be just that and taken care of in emergency time. I'm glad everything is okay. Looks like this is going to be medical week for you. I'll say a prayer for Clare.

Hugs...Tracy :)

P.S. Thank you for always being so generous and sharing so many wonderful things with us. xxoo's

Hi dear,
So many dc.visits, glad that your husbond is ok. again sweetie.
And surely it will help Clare with the tubes, my little grandson ,never had troubles after having his, and then he -as he said-could even hear the birds sing, sweet one.
Thanks Dawn dear, for beautifull images, love the bird one.
Have a lovely day, with your loved ones.
Love and hugs, Dorthe

Bless your heart! I am happy to hear the outcome at the ER was good even though sitting and waiting is so painful. I spent many hours there with my Dad before he passed away. So many people go when it isn't an emergency and it clogs up the ER. Hope he will be good today and I will pray for Clara. I know a number of kids who had problems and after the tubes, NO MORE PROBLEMS:) Have a blessed day!

Dawn, i am glad that your husband is ok...that must have been scary...and then annoying to have to wait so long...i was thinking the same thing as Theresa, a lot of people will use an ER like it is their own personal dr's office, and it does clog up the works... i will say a prayer for your little one as she has her surgery on friday...i am sure she will feel so much better afterwards...

Good Morning Dawn,

That is just awful. I am glad that Dennis is okay, but really, 7.5 hours? That is just unacceptable. I hope he is felling better today.

Sorry to hear about the tubes for Clara, but it will help her so much. Hugs to you all!

An ER is not a pleasant place to be for anyone. I am glad to hear the DH is fine.
Best of luck to little Clara she will be all the better after the tubes are put in.

Sorry to hear that you spent so long in the ER, it can be so exhausting just sitting there, and I can't imagine how scary it must have been. Blessings to Clara. I love the penmanship sample.

That had to be terrifying to have that happen. I can't imagine! I am so glad all's well that end's well! And good luck with the tubes in the ears...... I've yet to hear of anyone who that DIDN'T work for. I am confident she will be so much better with them doing their job!

Hi sweet friend,
I am so sorry to hear about all of the sickness in your house. My kids all had strep last week, ugg. I'm sorry I haven't been around lately, you have been busy girl, the shop looks good. I understand about the typewriter, I wouldn't sell it either. I'm looking for one right now to use for art. What do you do when the ribbon runs out tho? Can you still buy old ones somewhere? Give Clara a kiss for me, tell her to feel good. Lisa

I know what it's like sitting in ER. We did it Saturday with my husband. I'm happy to say he's much better, but we're going for an MRI Friday just to make sure. It certainly messes up one's week! Also both dogs at the vet 2 different days! My niece had tubes put in her ears at a young age and they helped her a lot.

That's a looong time to sit and wait. Especially in the ER waiting room.

So sorry you and yours have been having such a tough week. I just know the rest of the week will be much better for you. Tubes will make a HUGE improvement for sweet Clara. I know because my son had them and the ear infections stopped. What a relief that was. Thank you for the beautiful images. You are always so thoughtful.
