Topiary love and good junk finds ~

I found a few more paintings by Gainesborough that I thought you'd love ~
The last painting is of his daughters....

You know I love hardware stores...well, Ace had these little babies
of lavender and rosemary for only 3.50 a I had to get them!

Here are a few of my found treasures....
random things but all with the look I love ~

I'm afraid this little baby is going to have to stay home with me though :)

Even though the rosemary plants are little I gave one a bit of a haircut....

And instantly turned it into a baby topiary!!!

Image below from Flora Home Studio

Image below found at Better Homes and Gardens ~

Image below...I can't remember :) But I do love the bottom of
the topiary planted up too!

Anne of Fiona and Twig is hosting
a Paris Market Giveaway on her blog HERE!

Marie of Spun by Me is having
a Glittery 500th Post Giveaway HERE ~

My quilted gathering basket is now in The Feathered Nest Shoppe!

Have a wonderful Wednesday sweet friends ~
hugs and love,

Hi Dawn, I love rosemary especially when it is in sourdough bread....yum.

A gardening tip for your rosemary, keep it in a cool location if you are keeping it inside - it like cool roots and lots of moisture.

Thanks for the posting - loved it. xo Julie

Heavens above, I'm scatty. You know that when I said Constable I meant Gainesborough right? Two entirely different kettles of fish. But alas my mind is so very apt to wonder!

Smart gal to add the good, clean scent of rosemary to your shop...that would draw me in. What a darling quilt basket...your work is, as always, quality and amazing!

Hey Dawn!
Glad to be back in blogland even though it was great to be in the sun.
Love that little lamp... I can see why it is a keeper, I would keep it too.
The rosemary is so wonderful but hard to keep it alive in the house, I can grow it outside but not in those little containers for some reason. (probably because I am never home)
Blessings to you dear friend

Seeing those little pots of plants makes me want to go straight to the nursery.

I have many rosemary and lavender bushes in my garden. I may have to replace one that my dog got into but the smell so wonderful!

The topiary is a wonderful idea. I am going to use a small grapevine wreath for it to grow around.
