Dawn amor, this is so pretty! You weren't kidding when you said you were creating :) You do it so well! Amor where did you find those lil watchmakers vials? I tried to blow it up and see what was inside, but I must be tired and without my reading glasses I just couldn't make out what was inside. But your piece is LOVELY! Love & besos, to you! Rose

Beautiful! Dawn, you are way too hard on yourself, you create everyday - you make a beautiful life for your family and it shows in your willingness to jump in and start a booth with your hubby, in hosting family gatherings, in prettying up things for your precious Clara, in devoting your time and attention to Noah when he is home from school, in styling your home, in sharing so generously here in on your blog. Creativity is about so much more than just making art and you are an artist extraordinaire at making not only beautiful art but at beautiful living. Thanks for being an inspiration!

How lovely, it has such an English Edwardian study look to it. I know it would be displayed on a heavy piece of furniture next to english bone china tea cups and saucers and scattered among insect journals. Sea Witch

Projects like this is why I visit The Feathered Nest. Wonderful with its mixed media. Although I work mainly in fabric you inspire me. Question. What's in the little vials?

I admire the elements all being of the same patina, so that the piece is very harmonious. Wonderful!

Dawn, do you know what an inspiration you are to me? I would love to be able to create such beautiful things, just out of my head, but I seem to always have to use other's beauty to create my own. I guess that is why I love the Somerset publications so much, because I can follow the instructions and make something pretty. You however can just pull something out of your brain.
Just beautiful.

"She" LOVES moths and moth prints?!? Oh yes she does!! So I thought "she" would faint when she heard you had not created anything in a while, but "she" maintained, just sat there in disbelief with a tinge of sadness for mew. But then I told "her" to check out the moths. "She" looked. And then "she" did faint. I believe that means "she" really liked it. Pardon me, I must go find some cold water to throw on her face.
