New artwork & a few free images for you ~

Remember the jar that I found at Antiques in Old Town Saturday? Well, here it is! I just had to put a nest in it! It's secured so it won't move around inside, as are the eggs and feathers. I have it resting on a big ol' wonderful leaf that Noah found for me one day when he was nature hunting for me. It has a speckled egg tag and a drawing of a sparrow on top ~ soon to be listed in my Etsy store :)

A custom order I just finished tonight: (this one's for you Nancy!)

Another custom order for a fairy in a jar (I still need to add the poem tied around the top). What's wonderful about this is that image is my customer when she was a little girl!!! She's going to give this to her ten year old granddaughter on her birthday ~

A few scanned items for your saving pleasure!! Click to enlarge, then right click to get the small menu and save to your computer ~

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday dear friends ~ make time to do something you love :)

xxoo, Dawn

Oh dear friend, how sweet is the little birdsnest in the jar. So quiet resting on the beautifull leaf.
And the silver tray so elegant, and Paris-like.'
You are a blessed artist Dawn.

You inspire me with your creative heart. After reading your story about the children's clothes, I pulled out my collection and photographed them. That is a start. Thanks!

Love all of your new art! The jar with the nest is lovely! I just need a little nest;) I found a package of the cutest little bird's eggs at a quaint shop locally but she didn't have any nests.

I'm going right now to see if there's a picture of me as a baby (hard to find a good "standing" picture)to make a fairy jar. Yours is perfect! Love the Paris tray, I'm sure your friend will love it. I also love the jar with the nest-there is something about birds nests that always intrigues me. I have a nest that fell out of one of our trees a few years ago. It is very small and lined with human hair. Imagine the work involved for that little bird to gather the makings for her nest. I have no idea what kind of bird it was.
Thank you for the images...I have an entire feathered nest file now.

Thank you so much for sharing the picture of the little boy in bed... (I thought it was a girl, but as I have boys it's perfect for me!). You are so generous to share your treasures.

Love the jars. I never knew what to do with the leaves, feathers, etc. that the boys used to bring me. I love how your mind creates.
The fairy jar with the grandmother's picture is so sweet!
