The beauty of Willow Nest ~

Simply enjoy the gorgeousness...

And just what am I working on now?
Well, I've been working with Linda Marcov of Willow Nest
with some graphic design projects, can you believe that??

I've admired Linda for YEARS now...
I saw her home featured in a magazine a long time ago
and fell in love her taste and style.
She was one of the first people that cheered me on
as an artist and blogger, a truly precious soul.

Linda and her husband Ludmil used to live in Washington State
and would have amazing antique sales on their property there.
They moved to Texas for a while
and are now in California
selling their beautiful finds and creations.

I've designed a postcard for her and am now working on
a flyer and some tags....
and you should see the gorgeous ephemera she sent me
to scan and use, it's all just GORGEOUS!!!

I have been so worried I couldn't create something
that she would love,
that would represent "her" and her wonderful taste.
But...she LOVED the postcard!!!

So now I'm designing on the other two pieces to be printed.
It's only been fifteen or so years since I prepared
something to go to press!!

I have to share a precious photo with you...
A sweet customer, Megan, purchased my angel wings tutorial
for the purpose of creating them for a photo shoot of her precious baby!!
She sent me a photo and I think the photograph is just gorgeous!
The photography is by Memories by Brandi in Iowa

And speaking of precious bebes...
here are a few pics of our Clara and Murray taken recently by their mama ~

I'm trying so hard to get back in the groove around here...
It's taking me awhile though.
I'm still a little weak but feeling better each day.
We take our good health for granted you know ~

If you haven't entered my 6 years of Blogging Giveaway

Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday dear friends!!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

What a fun challenge for you and Linda of Willow Nest could not have chosen any more wisely.

My goodness what a beautiful baby with the angel wings and pops of red. Lovely. That must be so satisfying to see what others do with your tutorials.

Your grands are adorable...so very. Murray has quite the twinkle in his eye.

Glad that you are gaining, Dawn. I had forgotten that you'd been under the weather.

Hey baby,
Oh that Linda, she is the best! Those pictures, OMG. I have to go find the mag now. I wish she still lived here, there was a rumor that she was opening a shop in McKinney but it never happened. So sad, I would have been there everyday.
Angel wings on that baby are adorable!

I'm so glad you're feeling better! I so much enjoyed this post today. I have never met Linda, but have been so impressed with every single thing I have ever seen from her over the years. I may have seen the same article of her home with pale rose rooms and a European flavor. Her styling and creations all have such a beautiful spirit. This is a beautiful photo of her. I wish so much that I could attend her upcoming event. Thanks for sharing! Get well!

Dawn, what is the brand of the tinsel you found at Michaels? I have been to two different Michaels and have not seen it anywhere. Would you be able to get me some please? I love your pretty baby pictures and wish you luck in your new venture.
