Remember my find from last week?
I decided to work on my little nature journal a bit more....
It's just a small book filled with the neatest kraft paper pages.
I decided to pull out several pages here and there throughout the book
to give me room to embellish the pages that were left.
Here's a sampling of what was accomplished today:
The pages are simple ~ just using images that I love and old ledger papers.
I'm using some of my pressed flowers and botanicals as well on some of the pages....
Feathers and thin bark....
Even dried leaves and strands from a palm tree I've collected over the years.
It's a simple nature journal ~
and hopefully I'll have it in my Etsy store in just a few more days too!!
OH! And remember the "Jamaica" album I found????
It is slowly being transformed as well....
I just love nature journals, can you tell?
See the bark around the diamond cutaway on the cover?
A squirrel had stripped the bark away and left it to hang
on one of our trees one year so I HAD
to save these precious pieces!!
I always know what I love
but just never know how I'll
but just never know how I'll
end up using these wonderful treasures from nature ~
Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday my sweet friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Wow, you are so talented! That nature journal is beautiful. Love all of the little birds and botanical prints too :)
I love using things from nature in my art too. You do it so beautifully.
That Journal is such a sweet little project and so one of a kind. Love the creativity you've put into it!
Your nature journal is beautiful, just think 100 years or more, from now others may find one of your journals in a little antique store somewhere and they will hold it to their heart and imagine who made this beautiful journal, and they will have to take it home with them to be part of their treasures found.
Love your natures Journal Dawn - it´s so pretty and wonderful. Love the details on the pages. Just awesome.
Have a beautiful day sweet friend.

Hey Sweetie,
I love what you've done with this journal. How much fun to fill it up with beautiful memories or pictures. There is something about journals, I can never pass them up at the store. Lisa
Knew you'd be brilliant with these journals. But, who would ever write in them! I'd have to leave them as works of art. I do that all the time - even with store-bought journals - if I really like the design I can't bear to write in them! Ya!

Hello,
I really love your little nature journal. It makes me want to make one of my own. I already have the Kraft journal, and I can't wait to get started!
Beautiful journal...
Stunning! I do love nature books so much!
The earth spirit has been laid down
It is covered with growing things,
It has been laid down
The earth is beautiful.
