Small scraps can turn into wonderful things!!

This is what's on my desk right now....
sweet lavender sachets!
They're not quite finished yet but I had to give you a tiny peek ~
Created with scraps of muslin, damask, fragile old lace....
an old petticoat and even wedding lace!

I think of these small treasures and think about their journey.
Who wore this lace, the beautiful vintage watch faces...
the petticoat that ended up in my little studio.

These will end up in my shoppe ~
I'm still adding a few more treasures to them :)

My precious niece and her mom visited us this week....
Noah and Grayson both were on spring break so it
was a perfect time to spend some time together.

Clara visited and Grayson took the best photos of her,
I just have to share them with you!

Out by the barn:

Playing with the chickens, they are growing so fast!!

Sweet cheeks with wind in her hair:

Aunt Julie and Clara:

Examining a dandilion thoroughly!

A precious smile:

Everything is so interesting in the yard!

I'm in LOVE with this pic and this sweet babe:

 Sweet Grayson and Clara!

I am so blessed....

Thank you always for stopping by here to see me ~
wishing you a wonderful Friday and weekend dear friends,

hugs and love,

Oh my dear Dawn-
your sachets are so beautiful and divine, so wonderful with the watches in the middle of old fabrics-such a beautiful thought-so special-
and sweetest friend, the photoes of Clara are gorgeus, she has the cutest little face- and isn`t it wonderfull how the camera can catch seconds of an expression ,so beautiful like the last photo.
I wish you a beautiful week-end girlfriend, and send you love and hugs.

Grayson really does have a photographer's eye. She captured Clara so very well.

Lovely things you're working on...such attention to detail even on the simplest of projects. Very cool.

Dawn, what a beautiful family you have!!! And your sachets are soooo beautiful. I have some old petticoats that I hadn't wanted to cut up, but had no real use for (display, maybe), and you gave me some inspiration with these little lovelies! Thank you!

Thank to you for posting the beautiful pics of your sachets and your darling niece. I am jealous that you can even be outside without a jacket. Seems like spring will never arrive here in Seattle this year.
