Oh everything is just perfect and that nest....there is nothing sweeter in nature than to see how our little female bird friends fashion their homes with all the beautiful natural raffia that nature has to offer! We had a robin build a nest dear our front door and she had two sets of babies...it was so darling and I so miss her. SHE IS DONE!

Enjoy your day, Anita

Your finished project has inspired me to try my hand at this. I would love to use a picture of my sweet great great Aunt. Did you use just regular seam binding and then tea stain it or is it a product that you buy that way?
Good luck at the Mart. How exciting for you.
Hugs
Becky

Hi Dawn:
I love what you created with the challenge image. You are such a wonder with the details! An inspiration to all, my friend.

I just received a box from my BFF in Wisconsin. Her mom had saved FOUR hummingbird's nests and one from another, larger bird. The hummer's nests even had hair from their black dog in it! Now to decide what to do with them! More inspiration from The Feathered Nest, I'm sure! ;-)

Have a wonderful week, Sweetie.

Your project came out beautifully...beyond beautifully. I will be interested to see what others do with it as well. Speaking of detailed nests, your project demonstrates that the details matter. Best of everything with the soaps. I know that your creative touches will be a big help.

Dawn, your cover is beautiful...i just did something similar using an old letter.. though i like the way you framed yours!
I though someone crafted that nest...but obviously it was a little bird and not a person..what a work of art! It amazes me what birds can do with just a beak!
