Glimpses ~

Isn't this image beautiful? She would be gorgeous in your artwork....

A gift from Brad, it had fallen from it's limb....

Great jars to use for artwork, and now I remember
why they don't smell like dill....
because they were bread and butter pickles!!

Some beautiful trim was just too white
for my project so into a hot coffee bath it went!

Ahhh, now it has that soft aged look I love ~

A tiny glimpse at all of the projects I've been working on!!

I found this calendar at Michael's for a dollar!!!
The paper is really thin, but I don't care,
the photographs are of the most wonderful things ~

How's that for a pure random post that hops all over the place?!
I hope you are doing wonderful....
and that your week will hold many treasures!

Have a great Monday sweet friends and
take the time to make something beautiful ~
hugs and love,
Dawn

Oooh, that trim is gorgeous! I usually dye with tea, must try coffee sometime.

Oh, you found goodies! And thank you for passing on the lovely painting.

Dawn, did you know, that as the trim is drying, if you sprinkle on a little cinnamon and ground cloves, that the scent of those will stay but the coffee scent will go away? I've tried it on my stamped and stained muslin ribbons and really like it. The spices don't absorb into the cloth so when the coffee dries, you have to shake them over the sink to get rid of them, but I didn't mind having to do that.

I use instant coffee a lot and someone also suggested instant tea, which scent I like a whole lot better so I'm going to have hubby buy a jar at the store today when he runs errands.

Hugs! A Happy start to the New Year for you is wished!

I thought I bought one of those $1.00 calendars at Michaels back in November. I turned my house upside down this past week looking for it, but I guess I never did buy it {I must have thought I'd be back and could get it closer to the end of the year}. You look busy ~ can't wait to see what you've been up to!

No problems following you all around a busy post. I learned something...a coffee bath instead of a tea bath...I'm going to try it.

Love the randomness of your post. I think that happens in the new year alot when so much comes to mind for new beginnings. Love the aging process. One cup for me and one for the lace! Happy New Year Dawn. I don't think I thanked you for stopping by earlier, it was much appreciated.

Dawn,
Love your 'random' post. I am going to have to head over to Michael's and look for that calendar. I love your black album page that your working with. I've never seen one like that. I have some really pretty ones with flowers and Victorian illustrations but that black one just makes the art POP. Lisa

I love everything -- but I had to laugh at the lace in the coffee, because before I read the post, I was admiring the pretty pattern your cream made in your coffee!
