A precious friend of mine, Rose from Bella Rosa sent me a wonderful care package....absolutely CHOCK FULL of the most beautiful treasures!

Rose, knows how much I love nests, lace, birds, buttons, stamps.....there are so many wonderful gifts ~ I am just speechless.....

One of my most favorite gifts? The sweet hummingbird nest from her home, she placed a little plastic egg inside ~ don't you love it?
Hangers that her sweet husband, Chris, cut down so I could hang little doll dresses in my studio~
Two little dresses for my sweet granddaughter Clara ~ just look how beautiful!
I feel so very humbled and unworthy....but also incredibly thankful that I could make such a precious friend on the opposite side of the country and connect so much with her ~

Dawn, i am utterly amazed by this outpouring of generosity...everything you received is just wonderful and all of it is so perfect for you...all the things you love are there...what a sweet sweet gift!!!
OMG, I would have either passed out, or died and gone to Heaven if I would have opened such a package! I bet you almost did too! Everything is absolutely Gorgeous! Don't say you are unworthy though, this is how I used to feel when I got a wonderful gift (especially something that was SO me). BUT, I think you will agree that it is SO much fun to GIVE and if we dont' accept gifts from people who care about us, it will hurt their feelings. (I'm sure you've been on both sides as I have). I now just call it a wonderful blessing and the giver an even bigger blessing. It's hard. I used to feel guilty and not worthy when getting a gift, and even worse, felt like I should pay the giver back with something somehow. I had a friend ask me why I did that, that I didn't need to give her something everytime she gave something to me. Wow, I didn't realize I was doing that and it hurt her feelings.
Ok, preaching over! Good for you. I love everything in that beautiful package!!
