I finished up my treasure box for Heather's "Junque in My Trunk" swap tonight!!! My treasure box is headed to Alice of Romantic Thoughts and I just so hope that she likes what I've gathered for her!!! Here's a peek at the package and it's all ready to mail out tomorrow ~
I finished a baby shoe pincushion today to go to the antique store . . . I just love this little girl!!
Can you tell I'm really loving the Macro setting on my camera?!
A little spice bottle that had no lid, filled with mother of pearl buttons and topped with a cork that I aged. I used matte gel medium on the back of this vintage label that I printed from my computer. A snippet of old lace and a piece from an old rhinestone earring (thank you Vikki!!) finishes this small treasure off!

dawn, your creations are like treasures from another century.
two weekends ago i was visiting wonderful little town called Porvoo and visited few antique shops in there. i found a beautiful beautiful lace covered 1800th century bag, or i feel actually that the bag found me, since i felt it wanted that i would purchase it. i will write more about my finding, when i next update my blog.

Dawn - your blog is absolutely wonderful!!! What a treat! Marva
The bottle is divine! Love that you put a bell on the baby shoe! It reminds me of a story grandmother told about how she used bells on the shoes of her toddlers to keep up with them around the farm.
Your creations are always so stunning, Dawn! And I'll bet that beautifully wrapped gift contains some gorgeous goodies!
Once more, dear friend, WOW!

I know you hear this all the time but you really do inspire all of us - I look at things differently now - you have brought a gentleness to our hectic lives. Thanks my friend!

I am so far behind....I love the shoes....what a wonderful Idea. We have a craft day at our church each October, would you mind if I gave this a try? I couldn't do them like yours, but we all love baby shoes. I don't have the settings on my camera that you do, your pictures are beautiful, I think I say this every time.
Hugs, Mary
