I had to share something with you that I love to collect. It may be because I have five sons. Or maybe, I love beautiful old, sweet baby dresses but anyway....I love these neutral, cream colored baby clothes. It doesn't matter if there are little moth holes, stains or rips. They have a history. Who have they clothed in their little life? I love them all.
I have a sweet friend, Sharon, who gives me a baby dress for Christmas because she knows...and understands these little things I love....Here's one I found at The Plum Tree that was Cindy's.....I'll show you one that Sharon gave me this Christmas soon, it's precious...xxoo, Dawn

Beautiful.
I want to take it up and let it run through my fingers.
I collect lace, mostly from Italy, and some days I just sit down to look at my collection and dream :-)
Very sweet dress... I love old things, b/c they have "memories" attached to them - memories we maybe don't even have a clue about.
One time at an estate sale I came across a huge lot of old lace...the pieces I enjoyed the most were the cotton ones that had been patched, sewn, re-patched again and again. All with careful, beautiful stitching.
Made me wonder about the person that wore that old lace collar, and rather than buy or make a new one, it continued to be repaired.
Dawn, how sweet!!! i love the old baby dresses too...i have a couple picked out at out antique store on the square that i want for my b~day...they are white, very simple but just wonderful:)
I found you on Etsy, and absolutely love your soldered charms. So beautiful!
