This book looks like I will love it, just by looking at the cover! This one to come out in February 2008. The Magnolia Pearl book is not due out until July of next year :(
Dawn, These books look great...some I would most surely like to add to my collection. Could you PLEASE post when they come out...b/c my brain doesn't seem to function that well in advance...so a friendly reminder would be so appreciated.
I know I have told you how much I love your sight...how it is a place I like to come and just relax. Well, you have inspired me by 2 of your beautiful projects...I have attempted them both and will be giving them as gifts...so thank you, thank you for your beautiful inspirtations. I did the tags you gave the tutorial on...about aging them w/instant coffee...and then a stamped front. I actually stained mine as you suggested (and YES the instant coffee is by far the BEST) and then I stamped the front with "Merry Christmas" from a beautiful stamp I found...very frilly and cursive. I used an aged color browninsh bronze...and they turned out splendid. I also purchased the individual alphabet stamps in both upper and lower case...so on the back...I stamped From: Santa in all lower case...it really gave it that old timey typewriter look....I love them...I'll try posting them soon. I will be using these as gift tags on all my gifts...so far I've stamped From: Santa on all the backs and am working on stamping the receipants name when I wrap that particular gift. AND I am also currently working on one of the baby shoes you showed for a very dear friend of mine...it is looking good, too...I love them both...and again, Thank you for being so generous as to share your beautiful creations. I am including a picture of my friend on her shoe/pincushion when she was a toddler on a tag I found for the baby shoe...I think that will send her over the moon...just something to make it more personel.
Blessings...and wishing you the Merriest of Christmas'.
O my GOSH Dawn, that photo of the book cover just makes me want to grab all of my old books and sheet music, and create a huge piece of wall art that looks like that! I will definitely be getting that book - thank you so much for sharing!
My name is Dawn Edmonson. I'm a wife for 42 years to the same wonderful man, mother to five amazing sons ranging in age from 40 to 25 years old and grandmother to three precious girls and two sweet boys.
I love to create one-of-a-kind artwork to sell in my Etsy shop. I enjoy keeping up with my blog and am amazed at the inspiration I get from others blogs and sweet comments that are left for me. I am drawn to all things old, with plenty of character and enjoy using small, antique trinkets in my artwork. Being able to create is truly my bliss.

So many things to do and so little time Dawn.
I bet your tags are wonderful! The book looks like it would be so much fun to page through, with so much inspiration.
