Do you like to go to the thrift store? I know, I know ~ they typically don't have the best ambiance going on. No beautiful aromas, soft lighting and amazing displays. But what they do have is just some really good stuff.
You have to dig, search and put up with a TON of yucky things but when you find something cool, you feel like you've struck gold!
These are a few treasures that I came across this week. The glee club book is filled with music ~ gotta love that. The old book has the perfect patina to its pages and the French book, well, it's French and that's all I need! As for the small oval platter ~ it was cheap as dirt and you will soon see what I do with this little guy . . . xxoo, Dawn

Love your finds, I made your little mittens, only I used an old sweater and they turned out so cute! Thanks for the idea!

Dawn ~ I LOVE going thrifting, too! It's so exhilarating when you unearth a "treasure" AND get it really cheaply, isn't it?! Your finds are great ~ looking forward to seeing what you do with them!
Have a great weekend!
Blessings,
Michelle
I just thrifting although in the UK we call them charity shops! Like you say it's great when you rummage through the dust and find something that you just can't go home without and for bargain prices too!
Best wishes
Victoria
What fabulous finds. Nothing like a good bargain.

I am a professional thrifter!!LOL I would much rather go to a thrist store, flea market or estate sale than go to the finest department store...

I just love thrifting! Now why couldn't they just burn a good smelling candle or something in those places? Like those wonderful stores you walk into and it smells heavenly.
