Well I made a few today, several for a friend of mine (Sharon, can you believe it??) and the rest to sell ~
Isn't it funny how when you want to do something creative you figure out a way to make it happen? I needed to age these little guys just a bit (I love all that is old and LOOKS old!) with the instant coffee (in a spray bottle) so I just opened up a wire hanger and slid them all on and sprayed away. Then I hung them on the railing to dry. I was able to spray them with glue next so the glitter would stick. Aged tags with torn sheet music snippets and buttons finished them off!

What a clever idea! I want to make some rag ornaments but I'm having trouble talking husband and toddler into thinking it's a great idea. Maybe if I show them your blog!

Nice job, Dawn - they are very elegant looking with your special touches! I have made several and love how quickly and easily they can be put together.
Enjoy your day!
so cute! And the title makes me think that you could also add vanilla in your spray bottle...yummy!
How do you keep the whole thing from getting sticky when you spray and then cover in glitter?
Dawn you have such a beautiful ideas! I must admit, that i have not done any Yule decoration this year... maybe i will do something later.
Have a glorious weekend!!

Coffee is great, isn't it? I had no idea until I tried your tag tutorial, and I just love it. They don't smell like coffee, either. Another beautiful project.
