giveaways, gifts, and sweet sachets
so that was my "big creative effort" for this day ~
Well, not really.
I did get a new canvas ready for adding a few treasures.
But the title of this post is what's on my mind lately.
The days seem to slip away sometimes ~
we're busy with household chores,
which of course always need to be done,
but they still slip away, don't they?
So my thought for today is to try to create something
beautiful every day!
It could be the beginning of a piece of artwork OR
it could be yummy pie ~
we are all creative in our own way!
Now for random photos I ran across in my files:
My wish for you is to carve out that time....
to make something beautiful ~
because you and I both know
because you and I both know
it will make your heart sing!
Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday sweet friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Beautiful post Dawn.
I so wish I could get some things done, but right now my creative energy is gong into a new room at the store. We are just about done cleaning it all out, (it was floor to ceiling inventory), then we will paint and decorate. Looking towards a May 5th opening.
I am doing a lot of creating in my mind though. All the things I want to make for the room, how I want to paint it, decorate it, and everything.
Cannot wait to show everyone. =)

I love this post. Everything you said is true.
We should take moment everyday and create something - anything! And you are right in saying creating makes your heart sing, because mine does.

Each of these creations is special in its own right, but my very favorite is the little shadow box with the graphic of a little girl waking to the bird chirping on her windowsill. I'm just that kind of a sap. :D
You are incredibly creative.
beautiful.

Your comment is so timely for me. For the last few weeks I have not created anything except a few blog posts. The days just seem to get away from me and I've not created anything with my hands. I would like to set aside some time everyday to create something, or finish something I've started.
Ahh Miz Dawn,
It looks like you are getting everyone inspired to create, wonderful Post!!! What a sweet Easter card!

Wow, this is a lot of sharing Dawn. Your work is always an inspiration. I just love the platter, the mason jar pin cushions and the treasures inside old jars. The vintage images of course are so much fun. Thanks. ~ Abby ~
