Simple joys ~

It doesn't take much to make me happy!
I love to find beauty in the small things.
The old, tattered and forgotten.

Today I received a simple, little doll dress in the mail from a friend.
It's old, stained, has a few holes but is absolutely PRECIOUS!

It got me to thinking about the simple things that bring us joy.
A tiny doll dress like the one below,
maybe a few blooms in water the first days of spring,
an old book with gorgeous illustrations,
a found bird's nest...
maybe a jar full of beautiful old buttons.

Finding the beauty in the simple things...

I just wanted to share a few of my joys with you ~

I hope you're having a beautiful weekend precious friends ~

hugs and love,

I too love the simple things Dawn. We are definitely kindred spirits. I tell my hubby frequently that he is lucky to have a woman who doesn't need all the latest and greatest that is out there. Lol!!! Beautiful images dear friend! Hugs~

I love the simple things also...went to an estate sale yesterday and picked up a book called " The Roll Call of Westminister Abbey"...thought it was old and it was from 1902 but the thing that caught my eye was an old letter in it that the owner? friend? or relative? had put in it and it looks like it might be a family tree detail...haven't looked at it all yet but thought it was so cool..the books cost?? 50 cents...hugs...

They're are simple things the most precious things in our Life, we only have to realize of them and appreciate them, they're the most important Gifts we have and we may gather to enrich our existences !
