Most of the time things are A-OK around here, you know?
But sometimes life throws a wrench in the works
and you just have to deal with it.
Sometimes we have days that simply beat us down.
I mean it.
They drain our spirit dry and squash our hope flat.
But then there are the other days...
those days that we finally realize
that we are not in control,
(even though we'd like to think we are)
and then something beautiful happens.
We see that our precious Lord above
is always, always on our side.
That He cares for us,
He listens to our prayers and
knows our needs.
Today I feel blessed and so very thankful....
I had a recent mammogram that was questionable and they requested that
I come back in for further images...
Well, I just have to tell you, I was so, so worried!!!
I had the second mammo Monday and all is well!
All is normal and good....
What a blessing!!!!
I truly am so, so very thankful.
I'm so sorry I've been absent but my mind has been elsewhere ~
Wishing you a great Tuesday my dear friends!!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

That is very good news indeed. No wonder your mind has been elsewhere. It is good to remember Who is really in control.
God's peace is like a river, not a pond.
In other words, a sense of health and well-being
can permeate our homes
even when we're in white-water rapids.

doing some catch up reading here Dawn ~ so happy to read that all is o.k.
sending love & positive thoughts your way ♥
I can so relate to your worries. I had the same experience a number of years ago, but one step further with a needle biopsy. Thank goodness, all was well with me, but waiting for the results
was a bit nerve wracking to say the least. Glad all is well with you, I bet your breathed a big sigh of relief.
Oh Dawn... that IS so frightening... I'm so glad your results turned out well and you're gonna be fine. I'm sorry you had to go through the worry... and .... waiting. It's always tough.
Sending a big hug...
Spencer
So happy for your great news. I bet each day will be sweeter for having gone through the worries and each moment with loved ones - more precious than before. Maybe the bad news was a gift waiting to be opened.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful images Dawn, and your beautiful words. I recently experienced the exact same thing and of course when I got the phone call to come back, it was the worst case scenario in my mind. All is well with me, but it does give us pause to reflect on the things that we are thankful for. God is always there for us, even when the news isn't as we would hope. You are a blessing! ~ Abby
Oh Dawn, so glad to hear all is well!

Our God is SO good to us, all the time. Thanking Him for helping you thru the waiting time and for the good report.
Dawn I am thanking God and rejoicing with you that you are well. It's mind-boggling how things can change in an instant and you've reminded me once again to keep gratitude in my heart and make the most of each and every moment. I'll be thinking of you and enjoying this lovely late spring day with you. -Terri
I am so glad to hear that your follow up studies were normal. Waiting can be dreadful but worth it when the results come out good.
Goodness....how terrifying. Your post is a good reminder that He holds us in the palm of His hand and nothing escapes His notice. We are His prized possession -- We are never alone. Enjoy the beauty of the day!
I, too, am offering up prayers of thanksgiving for your good results. Deep breaths, my sweet friend. God has everything in control :) love and hugs, Nancy
So glad you are well! May God keep every one safe and healthy in his arms.
Great News!
It's such a relief when you've been stewing over all the what-ifs. It makes you appreciate your life and the people in it more, doesn't it?
I'm so happy for you! Those "waiting for results" times in our lives can be so overwhelming. I am thankful the outcome was good news!
Blessings!
