Do you ever feel this way?

Yes, it's true.
Sometimes I just feel this way.
Used up.
My energies are spent worrying over everyday life things
and I just don't have what it takes
to be that creative soul I want to be.

Yes, I have TONS of ideas but real life sucks the energy right out of me.
It's nothing tragic though.
Just normal, everyday things.

You'd think I'd realize that art and creating
are both a type of THERAPY that helps you cope with
those everyday life stresses.
But no,
they simply shut me down.

Do you ever feel this way???

This photo is in no way at all related to this post except that
I just wanted to share it with you!
My dad, me and my mom when I was almost one...
yes, I was chubby even then! ;)

Our wonderful old farmhouse ~ photo taken a few days ago....
The old magnolia in the front yard tries to hide the view but I still love it.

I'm offering FREE SHIPPING for the items that I've created in my Etsy store ~

Wishing you a beautiful Wednesday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Dawn - you don't know me but I look at your blog often. I want to give you a hug and a kind word. You are a beautiful human being and you inspire me I think every woman feels used up sometimes. We give it all and you are spent. So take this hug and know that you are not alone. You take a little time for yourself. Hot bath with bubbles and chocolate? A walk in a beautiful woodland? You will recharge and you are greatly loved by many. Hope you feel better...The linen purse is amazing! So are you.

I feel that way more often than not.

You are not alone. Just take time for yourself - rest, nice long bath, get a massage or pedicure, or go to the bookstore and read all the magazines, have a slow relaxed lunch with a friend...just don't THINK and do not WORRY - just live a little.

Your mojo will come back when you return to it.

You're not alone in feeling this way, Dawn! More often than not I feel unmotivated even though I have a craft/sewing room filled with supplies and many ideas floating around. Not sure why this happens. I have actually taken a part time job recently to get me motivated and moving.

My sweet Dawn,
I so know how you feel and my heart and thoughts are with you. It can be somewhat hard when life seems to take all your energy and nothing is left for creativity.

Many hugs and much love,
Karen B. ~ Todolwen

Dawn, you've given me my chuckle for the day. What a cute picture! It precisely describes my feelings many days...oomph! You see how your parents are propping you up there? That's just how The Lord props us up and lifts our heads. Don't you worry. He's got everything under control. Love you, dear lady!

Hi Dawn! Thinking of you today. We all have our slumps. If I were you, I would take some sweet tea out on that pretty farmhouse porch and draw up some plans for a new art or decorating project. For me, working in the garden always makes me happy. Or dreaming up some new fabric art, even if I don't have the time to bring it to fruition. Sometimes, the dreaming is enough! Why don't you do some cowgirl art using that adorable little photo? XO Sue

Just doing a bit of catching up after being gone. I LOVE that picture of you with your parents. You are just darling there. There is something about your face there that reminds me of one of my dearly loved little grandbabies. So sweet! xo Diana
