Do you have certain books that you love to pull out,
get cozy and pour over again and again???
I admit it, I LOVE books! I'm not that fond of fiction,
(I can get so wrapped up in them that I get NOTHING done!)
(I can get so wrapped up in them that I get NOTHING done!)
but books filled with the style that I love or that
share techniques and ideas that inspire me.
I thought I'd share a few with you today ~
First, this is an older book but to me, is always beautiful and timeless...
The Serene Home by Eileen Cannon Paulin
I have a few inside shots from previous post that I've
included and believe me, it's wonderful!!

Another beautiful book that I absolutely LOVE is Fifi O'Neill's Romantic Prairie Style!
I love the look of this book, the styling, simply everything....
this one will always be one of my classics.

I am just like you- I LOVE my books- even the older ones! There is something in them that speaks to me and some things are just timeless. I don't have Fifi's book yet but it is on my list. I have a couple of old Junk Chic books that always inspire me, too. xo Diana
Dawn, nothing like pouring over some great old books! I could get so lost in doing just that, nothing else would ever get done. Your books look wonderful~ Thanks for sharing!
Nancy
Now those are the kinds of books I can get lost in. Thank you for sharing some of your favorites.
I have 2 of the books you show. The first book I do not have, but page 104...is in another book I have. I've duplicated (as best I could) the glass cloche with the various items under it. I came pretty close and it's one of my favorite arrangements.
I picked up the magazine you mentioned a week or so ago, the Prairie Style and was surprised to see Fifi O'Neil is the editor. I wondered what happened to her P.S. Mag. I got the first issue and then there was no more.
Loved that book too.
Beautiful picture:) I will be buying some of those! Thanks for inspiring me always! Enjoy your evening dear Dawn, HUGS!
Hi Dawn, so nice to meet you. I stopped over from Kathy's feature of you but have to go back and comment there too. I guess I got side tracked with your lovely blog. I also love these same books and find such inspiration from the old and new.
I also love to share my creations and how to create them.
So enjoyed my visit and a now a new follower too.
Congrats on the feature. Kathy is a sweetheart and I had the honor too earlier in May.
Have a great week.
Hugs
Oh yum! That's all I can say. I love each one of these books and am going to check out where to buy!
Thank you so much for sharing these open pages with us Dawn!
Big hugs,
Suzy
