Creating a little and missing you...

I love blogging so.
I love my friends here and our connection to each other ~
you always, always inspire me and you know
that I pray that I can do the same for you!

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and I finally got back
to making a little something!

I've had this most amazing vintage ironstone sugar dish for a few years now
and finally decided it was time to upcycle this sweetie into a pincushion!
Here she is all finished...perfect with staining, crazing and of course
you know I had to add a little lace, seam binding and rhinstones :)

I've added this new pincushion to my Etsy if you'd like to take a look!

A week or so ago, we went to an estate sale so I thought I'd share
my teeny tiny finds with you!
The pincushion is in the pic and was in progress....
Not much but still sweet things ~

I love this little chair so much...it's stained a little too much but I hope to fix that ~
I think some folks collect these...

And our precious grandson Murray visited Sunday
as Brent and Emily took Clara
to the movies to see Despicable Me 2.
Look at his two new teeth! He's already 10 months old ~
good grief the time just flies by.

Clara was a happy girl after the movie and I know she loved
having some one-on-one time with her mama and daddy!

I hope you are doing so, so good
and thank you always for visiting me here!!!

Happy Tuesday precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Hi Dawn, Beautiful pincushion...love that you missed us...I do miss you when you don't post, you are a ray of sunshine whenever I visit. Your baby grands make my heart melt. How do you ever let go of that little guy? Clara is growing up so fast...my girl has the same cheerful shirt. Thank you Dawn for sharing your life with us! Love, Penny
