You all KNOW how much I love the wonderful seam binding from
Zipperstop and I just had to share with you my lovely
seam binding collection.
My photos are kinda cheezy and not the most accurate with the color but
maybe you can tell a little about the shades if you'd like
to order a roll or two yourself!!!
Here's what I've compiled so far:
UPDATE: I've also discovered a NEW favorite shade...CROQUETTE BEIGE!
If you decide to order any.....please tell Jeff
"The Feathered Nest" sent you ~

I haven't bought any of the other spools. I just keep a lot of the eggshell on hand. Whenever I need a color, I reach for my homemade shimmer mists or my COPIC markers. I'd love to have the space for an expanded collection of seam binding, though. :)
~hugs~
Nothing more beautiful than stacks and stacks of seam binding my friend! Such beautiful colors Dawn. I know you will love using every inch of it too.
hugs from here...
These are all such gorgeous shades - perfectly suited to your lovely creations.
Not cheezy at all, and I'm SO glad you did this post. I try to colour my own sometimes from egg shell, and most of the time it never turns out quite right - sometimes it does, but I can never repeat it.
So I was looking at the big card Zipper Stop has to show the colours, but it's hard to choose. This will make it easier. Thank you for doing this post, I trust your colour choices, so I'll choose from those in future.
The rose beigey colours look just gorgeous. The other day I bought crochette beige on your recommendation! LOL. I have to be careful in my choices as it costs so much to send them to Australia.
My favorite-Havanna browm. Seeing the way you have them stacked makes me want them ALL. Beautiful!
That's a great stack! I have three colors. Two match colors in your stack. The third...oh what was I thinking?...is cold steel gray. Haven't used much of that.
What yummy colors Dawn. I have a big spool of the most awful color of gray seam binding I picked up at a thrift shop. I put it in water with a little bleach not knowing what the result would be. Guess what... it looks like your havana brown. I'm thrilled with it. I didn't leave it in the bleach long as I thought it would deteriorate. Just a little spin in it. Wheeee. ~ Abby
I really should just order some. I like the array of colors in the last photo, Dawn. Those are the colors I am drawn to most and they seem to go with everything.
Happy Tuesday to you dear friend! LOVE all of those pretty rolls of beauty:) Have a blessed day dear Dawn, HUGS!
I found my love for seam binding through you, Dawn:) Would you believe, I own many of the colors you've posted here and also some others! I love how much product is on each roll, too! A roll lasts a long, long time!
One of my favorites for Valentine's Day and Christmas (and the 4th of July) is Lipstick Red! Beautiful color, as all of them are...very hard to pick a favorite... I LOVE them ALL!
Thank you, so much, for introducing me to this wonderful product! I even invested in the chart guide, which I have found to be most helpful.
I want every color! lol It appears I am well on my way to that goal:0)... it's a wonderful product!
I look forward to your experimentation with dying some of the lighter shades, too! I've not tried doing this, so I'll be watching....:)
I'm amazed at all the color variations....I want them ALL! I am going to have to decide on a couple and place an order soon.
i L-O-V-E the two rolls you sent me when I won your giveaway (especially Leather Tan), and plan to order lots more in other colors. They are all so gorgeous
i bought a couple rolls of seam binding a while ago because you showed it on your site and i am so in love with this stuff, of course i want it all! but i don't work anymore so for now i am limited but what a good deal these are too! tx for sharing and inspiring! angi in hana
I love seeing all those amazing colors stacked on top of eachother. LOVE, love. We can never have enough seam binding huh? You changed my life (and I'm sure a few others) when you opened the doors to Zipperstop. I shudder when I think of how much money I wasted buying it by the yard from malls.

I have found it very hard to decide what color to buy from those little swatches online. Thank you for stacking them up and showing us what is what, that helps so much. I always have a color or two that is too yellow or not red enough. I use Plain Jane Matte Mist to change up the color or age it a little, or a lot.
I am off tho buy more hug snug. Thank you soooo much!
Oh dearest friend, so many, many yummy colour tones, you have to show us, dearest Dawn.
I love them all,but now have to compare and deside which to buy,- there are so many colours I would love to have here- I am still looking at all the beautiful ones you so dearly gifted me!! and keeps them away from my creations for now :-) saving them !!
Thankyou for showing those lovely tones, and many hugs and kisses from Dorthe -
Love you dear Dawn!

Oh mein Gott, was für eine unendliche Auswahl...... irre...
reicht fast bis zum Lebensende.
What a wunderfull Set...work till the end of life
have a nice day
Thanks so much for this lovely post. And, of course, I went right to Zipperstop and ordered abou 7 rolls. I really wanted the Old Roso that you showed but couldn't find it. I sent an email to Jeff once I placed my order. He said it's Oloroso. I'll just wait until the next time, I absolultely love that particular color. You are such a neat person to share all of your work with us. I find it soothing.
Dawn, I love these colors. I have 2 roll of eggshell, and they coffee and tea dye wonderfully!! I even used some raspberry herbal tea to dyr some and it was the softest rosy color. Just don"t rinse afterwards. I like the French scruncht look, so while they are still wet, I put them in a cotton tea towel and twist all of it really tight. Let dry like that in the sun or in the house . I usually just leave it overnight but I'm sure it doesn't really take that long. Then take it out and fluff it apart. Antique Frenchy look!!! BTW, I love your site and all the wonderful ideas I get from it!
