On my heart ~

When you've been blogging as long as I have
(for over six years now)
it seems that some days,
coming up with a wonderful post to share
is kinda like pulling teeth ~

It's not so much that I don't want to share goodness with you
but it's just that other aspects of my life have come to the forefront
and I can't share what I had planned "in my mind".

I'm working on a few goodies that aren't finished yet...
some are for friends,
other are for my shop.

BUT.
Wednesday evening my dear father-in-law had to be taken
to the emergency room for some serious health problems
and everything I was working on,
came to a screeching halt...
I know my sweet mother-in-law is so worried as
we all are.

So tonight, I pray.
For the healing of my father-in-law...
We married when I was 19 and my husband was 21.
My husband and I grew up across the street from each other.
He's like my second daddy ~
So I pray.

Wishing you a beautiful Thursday my dear friends...
hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh Dear Dawn
I'm so sorry to hear this news and just pray that all will be well and that it is not serious! In these situations blogging just has to take a back seat as your dear close family need you to be with them right now and that is where you heart and mind wish to be!
Thinking of you with love,
Suzy

Hope your FIL is doing better; so sorry to read this, but you are right - sometimes life itself gets in the way of the best laid plans.

Take care,

Dearest Dawn,
Ofcourse there is no mind for blogging in times like this, as one can only think of the loved one, and hope and pray he will be well again.
I so hope that for your Father in law my dear friend, and pray for you and all his family, he will soon return home again.
Blessings- with love from Dorthe

Dear Dawn,

During these times, when illness comes to one of our family members, we need to focus on them, in prayer and in any matter that we can do to help them.
We all go through these times, at some point in our lives.
There is understanding amongst your friends, as well as many prayers lifted up for your dear Father-in-law, family and for you dear.

No matter what, you are never alone. Put all your cares and worries in Gods hands. He who will lift your spirit up, and comfort you, along with your loved ones.

God be with you and your family,

Susan
