I thought I might place over top,
what do you think???
This was a Good Will find about a week ago that I forgot to share with you!
A gorgeous old pin ~
A gorgeous old pin ~
It is so beautiful to me....
So what have I been up to??
Remember that charm pack I bought on my birthday at the quilt shop??
It was gorgeous Moda fabric called Paris Market.
Well, since I don't quilt because I'm just not patient enough...
I thought I'd make 4" x 4" lavender sachets and sell them in pairs,
bundled up with a little seam binding
and of course I had to add a few old buttons!!!

Please know that I treasure each and every comment!!!
Wishing you a beautiful Tuesday my precious friends,

Hello Dear Dawn
Thank you once again so much for showing this most precious image and, of course, you have seen how I have used it in my lace heart!
It would have to be one of my most favourites!
Love your sign, that rhinestone pine and those very pretty little lavender bags. Those Moda fabrics certainly make a harmonious display all lined up together.
Sending hugs,
Suzy
These sachets are simple & sweet...so lovely. What a wonderful way to use a charm pack. Love them bundled together!
I LOVE them:) You are a mighty busy lady! Have a blessed day dear Dawn, HUGS!
Good morning sweet Dawn,

Dawn,
Omg you were right! Those little sachets are beautiful! Your stitches are just perfect. Saturday all the girls were staring at the one you sent me marveling over how perfect they were. '

PS Score on the pin & the portrait of the lady is wonderful.
That's a sweet way to use your fabric. I adore all things Bessie Pease Gutmann or Bessie Pease Gutmannesque...speaking of beautiful images...Bessie has a lovely countenance.
I have a few pins similar to the one you're sharing. They look rather corroded so I'm always wondering what the metal is and I figure that they are some turn of the last century costume jewelry. Do you know much about it?
Beautiful, Dawn! What gorgeous fabric. I like using different fabrics if I am making more than one of the same thing. It keeps it from getting monotonous.
Beautiful fabrics and a great way to use them up.
I love your sachets. Makes me want to go sew. Thanks for the lovely inspiration as always. ~ Abby
