Our sweet little tree ~

Aren't you just about sick of me talking about this ol' Christmas tree?
Oh well, it's what I'm doing and you know good and well
that my blog is all about what I'm up to!

I had to take a few photos today to show you how the decorating is progressing.
The funny thing????
You don't even NOTICE the snow I painted and the glitter...
WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS I THINKING??!!

Oh well....
I'm not quite finished but wanted to share
how the tree is looking with you.

I found six of these gorgeous votives at Ross last week.
They have a beautiful pearl finish and a silver emblem on the front ~
and for only a buck a piece, they were mine!

And I just have to share this sweetness with you!!!
Brent and Emily took the babies to Bass Pro Shops to see Santa and
this is the adorable photo Brent took with his phone...
I LOVE IT!!!
Clara was SO proud to see Santa that she RAN to him!
Can you believe that?
No crying and not scared one little bit!
Just look at her precious hand resting on Santa's hand....

I have a few wonderful friends that have new blogs!
If you would be so kind to pay them a visit and give them a little blog love
I would be so very grateful!!!

A precious childhood friend (I think we were 13 when we met)
Sharon and her new blog:

and

Please welcome them both into this wonderful blogging world!!!!

Wishing you a wonderful December weekend precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Your sweet little tree looks wonderful. To someone who hasn't been looking at it daily for several days will probably notice that snow/glitter you added.
The grandbabies are adorable with Santa. Thanks for the pictures.

Your little grands are adorable. Love that little hand on Santa's glove.

Your tree turned out beautifully, Dawn! I love it! The grands look wonderful in their picture with Santa. My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter will not go to Santa; she backs away from men with beards. Maybe next year. Off to visit your friends!

Dawn, I LOVE your tree! I haven't stopped by in quite a while, so I'm definitely not sick of hearing about it! :)
And as far as that photo with Santa....it's just perfect. Perfect! The children are adorable and the Santa maybe has a real beard?!
Thanks for sharing!

What a beautiful tree! I love all of your gorgeous ornaments, and your frosty touches. I just picked up a little faux tree that I plan on doing the same to. Thanks for the inspiration! Your grandchildren are precious!

I have to admit to you, that when you were painting your tree I had my doubts. lol But, now that I see it decorated with all your lovely handmade ornaments, it is truly beautiful.

No such thing as an "ugly" christmas tree huh? Especially after you gave it a makeover with your gorgeous decorations. I knew it would be beautiful...great job Dawn!

Oh, Dawn, your tree is gorgeous!!! I can't believe what a steal the votives were... I just love the luminescent way the candlelight shines through them.♥

And what a precious pic of Clara and Murray with Santa! (But I was thinking that possibly sweet Clara was trying to place her little hand on her chest, but Santa's hand got in the way! Either way, though, she is an angel.) Santa looks awfully happy and jolly, doesn't he?! Bet he tossed back a few buttered rums ("hold the butter" before he performed his duties!! hehehehe

Dear Dawn,
your tree is so filled with your beautiful creations, I love it and the old time feeling I get watching all the lovely ornaments.
And the photo is wonderful, I can see Clara is just a tiny bit overwhelmed from the situation, standing there with Santa- how precious.
Weekend hugs and love ,
Dorthe

Dit juletræ bliver så skønt, og din lille pige er så sød som hun står der og holder julemanden i hånden. knus morkaren.

Hello Dawn
I adore your tree - and sometimes we have a week of fixing here and there until we are satisfied with it. My MIL arrives tonight and I will await her comment about "she likes color lights" which are NOT on my tree. I take the insult every year.
Congrats on Baby Murray. I don't know if I mentioned it - but "Murray" was my Grandmother's maiden name...and they have their own tartan! ;) Just type Murray kilt or tartan online and you can find it. Happy Sunday!
