What are you thinking???

Really.
What's truly on your mind?
I've discovered that my mind....
and what I'm dwelling on,
SO affects what my thought process is!
And then THAT seems to dictate how my day will go.

WHAT???

So. If we can control our thought process....
we can in turn, control how our day plays out.

What wonderful knowledge!!!!!
I tend to get bogged down in day-to-day troubles ~
I guess we all do.
But when you are a creative soul,
it can CHOKE you.

So, maybe if I can realize this fact ~
and take note of how my thought process and attitude are heading,
then I can STOP and realize....
"you know, I can change this!!"

Just a few thoughts....to keep our creativity flowing ~

Have a wonderful Friday precious friends!!!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

Hi Dawn,

This is so very true for me too!!
Thursday was a good example of my mind ruminating through troubles and sitting in my craft room wondering why I could not get my mind focused on what I was trying to do..ughh it was maddening!
Then not until late evening...and my mind stopped churning away and started to relax that I was able to create with ease.

Yep...it is so true..You are indeed what you think!!

Great post and thank you for the sweet images too!! :)

Blessings and Hugs,

Susan

Super post. Words of wisdom for sure. They knew this back in the days of Proverbs “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
And Henry Ford repeated a similar sentiment. " Weather you think you can or you think you can't, you are right". Proving through the ages, the power of our thoughts are who we are.

Hi Dawn

I do find myself in the same situation - stress, heart disease etc. Once I start feeling better the creative juices starts flowing again. Oh, by the way I've been following your wonderful blog now for about 4 years and thank you for all the daily inspiration, free images and kindness to mankind!!!

So True Dawn.. Oh my Goodness, Yes. I Love Eileen's Verse from Proverbs and Henry Ford Quote. What I have Learned even in the Last Couple of Years is sometimes just Simply Letting Go..Helps you Achieve Peace. It is so Amazing to me that our Creativity is all Wrapped up into that.
Thank You for Your Visit and Sweet Congratulations. It has been a Amazing Week and I am so Very Grateful.
Happy Friday!
Hugs
Jill

I quite agree the the toils of life can squash ceativity alltogether. I think that was a good idea from Feathers and flight. Should maybe try it myself. I seen to have lost my creativity after christmas.

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for saying what I really needed to hear today. I want to be the "Bow Girl" not the "Pouty Girl"-- for my sake as well as for others who are around me. We all go through dark times but "Today is the day that the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in it"... Now what can I make with burlap, lace, doilies.....

So true, Dawn. Mind over matter. But it's not easy! For me, keeping my fingers busy with creative things helps a lot! My mind simply can't multi-task.

Have a wonderful day!

Yes, Dawn, it does happen. I wonder though if the sensitivity gene is connected to the creative one?! It paralyzes me sometimes...
Thanks for the pep talk! Happy New Year to you n' yours~

I think that I have ADD, I tend to start something and then off I go to something else, and nothing gets done. This was a good post, I think we all do this sometimes. Love you Dear Dawn, Mary
