Evening before last DH and I went on a sunset boat ride
at his sister and her husband's....
the weather was gorgeous, low humidity
(a rarity for this time of year in Georgia)
and crystal clear skies.
I happened to have my camera

What? The ride is over? No way...I'm NOT getting off the boat! You are just going to have to drag me off by my hair. (stomping and screaming here)

Your sunset photos are wonderful!!!! Looks like a deck boat/plantoon boat... We have one too & that little "door" up front was the give away. I miss going to the lake but, Hubby has been working so much & we have been traveling some when he's not. NEVER ENOUGH TIME TO DO IT ALL IS THERE? Hugs! Charlene

Wish I could stay there. But off to sit with my Mom during my Dad's nose cancer surgery. =(

Oh Dawn, those last few shots are simply breathtaking. The horizon is still a bit orange and the north star...gosh...just beautiful. We serve an amazing God, don't we? ALL of His creations are gorgeous. Happy Wednesday, friend. Love to you!

The boat ride pics are dreamy. I can almost see the fireflies and hear the frogs chirping.

Thanks for sharing your evening on the water! It makes me miss my sailboat we used to spend a lot of time on, especially at sunset and dawn (a few times)
