Seeing the beauty ~

Gifts for you....

I was so very fortunate to win a little bundle of French treasures
from Marcy of The Brocantess ~
Just the simple beauty of the bundle made me swoon....

Gorgeous treasures, each beautiful all on its own
but together...so wonderful!

Of course you know I had to share the religious card with you ~

Thank you so very much sweet Marcy!!!
The treasures are so beautiful and
very much appreciated ~
hugs and love to you ~

I forgot to show you this one little butter pat I found last Saturday.
Crazed and a bit stained ~ but so beautiful....

Our son Brad works for Kirkland's and they were throwing away a broken angel from Christmas....and look what that sweetie saved for me!!!
Angel wings...a bit worn, a bit tattered but beautiful.

I hit the jackpot at one of the places we stopped Saturday
and I bought all of these galvanized jar lids,
with the porcelain inserts.....
perfect for simple linen pincushions for our space ~
Rusty, rugged and old but just beautiful.

Books that I found simply because I loved their covers.
Old, scuffed and torn ~ but beautiful because of it all....

And this little goodie is not so beautiful
but definitely helps to create beauty!!
I found this at Walmart, it's a Martha punch
that makes photo corners!!!
I'm so loving this thing.....

I hope your week has been going so good....
I've been working on my new tutorial for Artist Class ~
My angel collage....
If you'd like to sign up just click here, be sure to type in
thefeatherednest
for a 10.00 discount!!
There are so many other artist's involved in Artist Class too.
And the best thing is that you don't have to do all of them
right away. Save each of the tutorials to your own computer
and make them when you have the time!

hugs and love,
Dawn

Hey Dawn. You're always so generous with your goodies. Thank you for sharing. What a nice prize. I just love it that your son knows you so well and saved you those wings. That would be such a waste for them to have gone in the trash.

Hugs to you sweetie....Tracy :)

Dawn, your win from Marcy is wonderful. Her presentation is so beautiful. Sometimes that means more than the gift itself.
Your finds are so cool and I'm sighing over those books. I love to collect books with pretty tattered covers.

Hi, Dawn! I am wondering if that pretty dress form (picture in collage re: Artist Class) is part of your Artist class? Are the supplies hard to find for all of those projects?

I love the jar lids. They are precious...
